Root The road to Android ICS 4.0 on the Triumph

There's no point unless we can get data working on the Ideos X6 rom which may be impossible or near impossible anyways. :(
 
I think it would be better for us to create a bootable build from isaac's github(as he has already gotten the radio partially working) while applying certain fixes(such as hardware acceleration) from edowars ideos x6 build.
 
I was wondering if everyone can take all their work and put it together as one and let everyone work off that one. This will make a large step for developers.
 
I wonder would I be able to take the boot.img and hardware folder from mantera's build and put it in the Ideos X6 rom and have a partially functional rom? test time! Unless someone else wants to try...

If someone can build it and zip it and send it to me ill flash it to test lol
 
Here it is... all I did was replace the boot.img and hardware folder from the Ideos X6 rom with the boot.img and hardware folder from mantera's build... Let me know if it works. I would try it myself, but I'm trying to get ICS installed on my G1... Its hell of a lot harder than on the MT...

Damn. Does it keep looping or just staying there? Cuz you may have to wait longer... If not... I wasn't really expecting it to work... I may try it in a bit and see if I can get it to boot...

well i wiped coming from CM7
just went back to stock and Im gonna sit here for another 10 minutes n wait in anticipation!

wiped everything I could think off then flashed, right before it finished I got a line that said random offset 0xc7? Wouldn't boot past Google splash screen

Hmmm mine didn't have the offset... But it didn't boot :/ and just replacing the kernel just for some reason makes it a pointer device not like an actual touchscreen, but I'm trying something now I'll let you know how that works out...
