Root Bluetooth problem

When I turn bluetooth on, both my Prevail and my mother's Transform go crazy and do those "quick restarts" nonstop giving me only about 20 seconds in between restarts to turn the bluetooth off. This only happens if rooted. Any ideas?

EDIT
The Prevail is running CTMod 2.4 and also using a partitioned SD for Link2SD. Transform is running stock ROM no alterations other than root.

the prevail sounds like your using the bluetooth.apk from prior to blood fixing it to not need the music apk but that would have been early 2.3 I have no idea why the transform would do it.

So you're saying if I'm on 2.4 I should not be experiencing this issue? I did remove the music apk that came with it, replaced by PlayerPro, and did not touch the bluetooth.apk at all. :confused:

The Transform is also having trouble turning GPS off and back on, which is killing my mom's battery since she's forced to have it on 24/7 for she's obsessed with weather updates :S

That was the problem... You said there was a fix, I did not find it on CTMod's thread. Can you link me to it, please?

I have not checked if the same happens on stock. I guess it does because the Transform is having the same issue and I also deleted music.apk :S

You should check both phones to see if they are suddenly "Married"

Your Prevail is obviously the "husband" in the relationship.

Every time he opens his mouth (turns on bluetooth) the two of them end up in a fight until the husband stops running his mouth, or the wife stops listening.

(In other words, you probably had the phones paired at one time, and the prevail has a bug in the bluetooth app that is trying to run, causing it to send garbage, yet somehow valid, bluetooth packets to your mom's phone. Your mom's phone sees the valid packet, tries to process it, but it's garbage, so it causes an exception, thereby causing your mom's phone to crash)
