Aaron, thanks for the info! Nice to have someone on here who has actually touched one.
On a side note, anyone notice this about the name?
INCREDIBLE
Probably just coincidence.
Real stretchhere but Verizon has partnered with Disney in the past.

I'd like to talk a little bit about what type of advertising we will realistically see for the Incredible. Personally, I think there will be next to none. There has been a lot of discussion about an ad campaign during the NCAA tournament, etc... but I would be VERY surprised to see any Incredible-specific ads on TV. Perhaps it will get a nod in a VZW or HTC (less likely) ad, but nothing beyond that.
I think the bar has been set pretty high by the Droid campaign, but the Droid was unique in a lot of ways that the Incredible just isn't. As much as we're all in denial about it, I'm sure that 99% of Verizon subscribers couldn't care less about this phone. The more that leaks about this phone, the more it seems like little more than an upper-mid range smart phone, not the Superphone we all hoped it will be.
Of course, I'll reserve final judgment until it actually comes out, but between the rumored RAM, unprofessional looking appearance, and now possible un-svelte profile, I'm just not feeling it like I was.
@drhill RAM amount 256 (it was a very fast phone),
tluv00 it is still a snapdragon, this early development model is under clocked to 850, I don't know why, it still ran just as smooth with sense UI as the Nexus I played with earlier in the night.
You can't really tell in the pics, but there is no trackball, just a tiny little black dot, it works just as well if not better than my experiences with the trackball.

When was the last time you had a chance to play with it?
All of the pics are from last night.
I used a N1 and the Incredible last night, and honestly couldn't tell a difference in operation. Sense UI had no noticeable impact.
They backplate comes off similar to the G1, I popped it off using a fingernail from the bottom where there was a tiny slit.
I don't see any reason why you couldn't swap backplates, if you found one in another color.
I got to head out, follow me on twitter @devdroidian if you aren't already I try to answer everyone.
