Root {GUIDE x2} Update to ZVD/Root ZVD

i suggest a hard reset once your done updating to ZVD before you root. then install cwm through Rom Manager

pull the battery and wait 5 seconds then put it back in and turn it on, that's worked for me

NOW ROOTED!!! the problem appears to be the computer I am using at work,... when i got home did everything from my laptop and everything works just fine,,..

will play with ZVD now and will hit you up guys when something comes up

You probably don't have admin on your work computer.

this happened to me too a few times.
First time when i flashed an old kernel
Second time when i flashed the power menu mod for ZVC on ZVD
Third time when i tried restoring only the data of previous ZVB back ups.

So im assuming this is not a flashable zip? How would one use this "pull" as a backup?

Correct..not flashable...Josh and I are testing that route...will take some time...not sure if it finished uploading yet to dropbox(almost home)...not going to root till Friday . Will see how long my extended bat last on this bloated Zvd...off fri and sat so will hook ya'll up once uploaded

Starting from v.1.5 to 1.7 Now it haven't had it. Just have the plain Lg Android Keyboard.

I went into recovery and installed my backup. Started over. So far so good.

Though I was rooted seems like I'm not the one click root work however phone is not rooted can I just flash gingeresteem from rom manager or do I have to go through one click roots again.?

i dont think you can flash anything through rom manager if you're not rooted, if you can, then you are rooted. try the one click again.
