i dont think you can flash anything through rom manager if you're not rooted, if you can, then you are rooted. try the one click again.

It's weird the one click root tells me I'm rooted through the commands but the phone is not rooted yet

well now, that's the one i used 7am this morning, maybe that's why i didn't have any issues. I didn't know there was another one.

how do you know you're not rooted?

Tried to delete the bloat with root explorer and root checker too confirm no root

there is about 3 of em, I boot looped with the other too and I stumbled upon that one I so respect to where ever i got it from

this is why people that don't do this stuff a lot should have waited a few days for the kinks could be worked out

Maybe a whole new thread needs to be made titled "ZVD root" and copy and paste the root for ZVC thread. I dont get how ppl keep using the wrong exploit, i mean, its everywhere in this section of the forum that ZVC root works on ZVD

I had that it was horrible, do a exitrecovery.zip it will fix ya right up if it doesnt tell me ill fixya up

i had that problem on stock zvd after updating using 1.8ghz kernel. plague's 2.2 with hdmi fix works fine. i also tried flashing the power menu mod for zvc on zvd and had bootloops, would not get passed the metropcs screen. i would do a hard reset on whatever version you're on now, and start all over. wipe dalvik after flashing anything. dont try restoring data from previous backups through cwm, got bootloops from that too

OK I was on ,ZVB ICS 1.3..updated to D then rooted . Then hard reset . Then updated to ICS 1.7..got stuck on loops .. tried the exit recovery zip no luck..so I restored bk to my ZVB BK UP .Now my phone is on ZVD with ICS 1.3 .how the hell did that happen? I factory reset adn try 1.7 it still won't work .stuck on black screen

looks like a dl got screwy, re download 1.7 wipe sys, data, cache, and re flash 1.7 and restore backup of your apps, or tibu

root of sd card, and flash it in cwm, if the root choice i gave you works no need for the exitrecovery, let me know how it goes
