Root [Avail] [ROM] one.three [kernel1.0 included plus video fix] (update Apr 12)

Is there any way of getting back to the 1ghz script you wrote? I think I disabled it by changing governer settings

Root apps:
ROM Toolbox (jrummy)
shell commander
Superuser
Busybox installer (jrummy)

As long as it's not set on boot then as soon as you reboot it should go back to 1GHz.. If you only used the app to change governors then delete the app and reboot and you should be good to go..

I am a TEENY bit confused here. I notice the stock email app is gone, didn't you say not to remove that in your "safe to remove" thread? :P

That might be the center of my confusion, but it is not the reason for this post. What are you guys using for email besides Gmail? I use Gmail for personal email, but I need an actual mail client for emails, preferably the ability to sync with Exchange servers like it was doing before.

I have lost the ability to add a "corporate" (or whatever it used to say) account in Settings -> Accounts and Sync.

I am a rooting rookie, just completed my first and it seems to be working just fine. I like this rom, quicker than standard and I am almost completely free of any AT&T stuff on my phone.

My memory isn't near as empty as yours and actually I had more before I flashed this one in. I had just used Titanium to uninstall stuff I didn't use. I only have 62.89MB available and have moved everything I can to the SD. Odd as I haven't added that much stuff other than what you list above. Doesn't really matter too much as long as I don't run out I suppose.

Thanks for your work on this.

Good to hear things are still moving forward with your ROM. I posted before about the tethering and hotspot features not working. Flashed back to original rom and had the same problem so im guessing it is somehow blocked because i am not actually on AT&T's network (operating on Straight talk SIM). Does anyone know if there is a way around this?

Also have you by chance looked into the issue with Bluetooth? When you turn on the bluetooth the cpu usage goes through the roof! and the phone is slowed to a crawl. Problem usually isn't fixed until rebooted.

Also for some reason when i boot into clockwork mod my buttons are unresponsive. Does this when i boot through Terminal and when i boot through Pwr Button + Vol Button.

Im not a complainer but just trying to help you and the release by reporting bugs.

Try using titanium backup to clean up the dalvik cache. Sometimes that can make a huge difference, especially if you installcand uninstall alot.

In regards to which problem? lol or were you even addressing me?

update: after clearing that cache my mobile hotspot will turn on without giving me that network error. But with the stock app my computer cannot find the SSID of my phone. When i use a hotspot app from the market it can find the SSID but cant connect. any ideas?

About the hotspot, i am on straight talk as well. Hot spot doesn't work for me either. I get a message saying to call att to activate this service. Got the same message when i was with ATT. Later i will try my other phones and see if any of them work. It might be just att branded phones they can block. I have a Telus Desire HD i will try. I had a unbranded nexus one that did work for tethering and hotspot.

On the avail you should try this app called foxfi. I managed to get it to turn on and send out the wifi signal. I just cant get my computer to pull an IP address from it. Theres another app called SVTP wifi tethering lite or some thing like that. I got it to work similarly. I don't recommend having them both installed at the same time because it made my phone crash and reboot. Just try them out seperately.

If we are to try and continue to solve this problem should we start a new thread?

I found your overclock script :D, then mounted into rw mode and altered the values along with changing the governer to "ondemand". And I set it to 1.2g instead of 1. I don't smell burning electronics yet, so for now it's good

Hi,
I have a few questions. I'm in Europe so I'm not on AT&T and the phone is called ZTE Roamer over here(in some parts, anyway) even though it's the same phone. So, I installed this ROM and everything was working great. It's stable, very fast, battery lasts quite a while, except...I can't send nor receive SMS. Making and receiving calls work though. I configured APN settings and they are just fine but the message service center number is blank and it won't save when I input the number manually. Is this ROM only intended for AT&T users in the US or am I doing something wrong? I used a lot of ROMs for other phones before and never had this issue. Also, the 3G icon in the notification bar is always on, just changes the color from grey to green, even though the data connection is turned off. I really like this ROM and I'd like to use it if only there's a fix for the SMS problem.
Thanks

I'm not sure what to tell you about the sms problem? You can make a backup with this rom and then restore a rom that your apn settings was working through. Use apn from the market https://play.google.com/store/apps/...mNvbS5yaXRlc2hzYWh1LkFQTkJhY2t1cFJlc3RvcmUiXQ.. and backup your current apn setting. Then restore back to this rom and restore the apn setting. That might help?

I tried that already but it doesn't work. It restores the apn settings but the service center number remains empty. The number is stored in the sim card by the network operator and the phone is supposed to see it automatically but with this rom it doesn't and it won't let me save it manually. Tried with the new one.two, same thing. Guessing its because I'm not on AT&T network. Too bad, it's way faster then the stock bloatware.
Thanks

Did you try deleting all of att apn first and then restore it from the backup? If you didn't delete them first it will cause conflict with the network. I am running straight talk and that is how I set my apn and it works great. You can try to go back to a stock rom and then pull the apns-conf.xml from system/etc and try replacing it in my rom. That might help?

There's nothing to delete, there is no att apn when I install your rom. I just restore apn from backup. Anyway, I'll try with the other thing you suggested later tonight and I'll let you know.

Neither boat browser or Opera will let me download one.two from mediafire...

EDIT: I wound up using PDAnet and using up a large chunk of data but I got it :D.

I tried dolphin mini as well as opera. Some sites work well on one or none. Bummer we cant get firefox on our avail.

i edited the script again, but instead of 1.2ghz, i'm running 1.1ghz, which seems way more stable. the keyboard works without issue now. (battery life drops like a rock on 3G though)

Same problem with SMS here! Please help, it's unusable without SMS...
And can you put some script to unlock all 512MB of ram? On some chinese sites I read that ligux n760 unlock it... ?

Thank you for your work!!!

I'm not sure about the sms problem, but I am having the same problems with 2.3.5 rom.. I am searching and searching.. I hope I can figure this out for everyone.

About the 512MB, I'm not sure if this phone supports that or not? If you find where you found it I can take a look at it and go from there. Thanks

One.two has go launcher ex built in. If you are not running the custom ROM just download go launcher and set it to the default home launcher. One time i deleted the stock launcher, and when i did a factory reset, had nothing. The phone was unusable. so be careful.
