Root [Guide] Optimus V ROMS do flash with touchscreen working!!

Wow. I don't know about you, man.. but this ROM is slooooow. But the Wi-Fi is working great over here. Nice job! The next thing I wanna work on is the accelerometer.
 
I don't think it's the kernel. I've used this kernel on a whole bunch of roms, and they were never this slow. I think it's the rom. Also, the homescreen is really weird. I just installed adw. :3

it has some weird battery notification on the top, if u go through settings for the launcher u can disable it
 
ohhhhhhhhh thats why, put the thing in airplane mode and turn wifi on again and theres no problem with lag
everytime u reboot u must turn wifi on again though
 
That did help with the lag. I wonder if it's just because we haven't gotten data working yet?
 
its becuz the thing keeps on trying to connect to service but it keeps failing becuz of the bad driver, we gotta port that before it will work right
it doesnt connect at all and keeps trying to
 
I'm on my phone, it doesn't show that. xD well hey, I'm gonna get some sleep. Get what you can done tonight, and I'll help some more tomorrow. Hopefully get data working. xD

Lol thanks. And just so you know, this should be universal, so once we figure out all the files that need to be replaced, we'll make a guide so all phones (Optimus M, C, S, T, and Vortex) will be able to be flashed to ours. :)

for the C, nothing has to be changed except APNs they are exactly the same :D

and maybe make a guide that will work vice versa....as soon as people with other phones will post results.....
 
yea, so? we're still porting it, its probably the same idea for the Optimus S ROMs and any other optimus ROM....I tried changing the boot.img on a ROM for the OV that was not made by BobZhome and it flashed just fine and wifi still didnt work, but it would if I changed drivers like I did in this ROM
 
also I got the accelerometer working but I broke Market, it will open, but it won't download any apps

replaced:
system\etc\gps.conf (This does make the GPS work faster :D)
system\etc\permissions
system\bin

Dont do it until I figure out what's causing Market to fail

EDIT:
I tried to not replace the entire bin folder
Market works now :D
accelerometer doesnt :/
its somewhere in that folder that messes up market....
