For those like myself, stock with locked boot loader. What are the ramifications of installing this, say it has issues or sucks etc? Is there a way to roll back? Or do we have to then learn then got through the unlock process and then recover.
Sorry if this is a newbish question, it's because I am.
Thanks
Don't install it. Never ever a good idea to install leaks when not rooted. I learned that the hard way with 2.1 and the Eris.
. That's what I'm going to do since the Rezound is my wifes phone (I'm on the Nexus) and she needs maximum stability and functionality.Yeah, I would at least wait and watch this thread (or other threads/news posts) to see what (inevitable) issues people have with the leaked update. If it doesn't sound bad after a week or so, you may want to try it out. I wouldn't even do that. Truthfully, there is absolutely no point to installing a leak and potentially locking your phone into that particular firmware for a long period of time. Either wait on the OTA to make its way out, or root/unlock and install one the many ROMs that are sure to be built by devs, that way you can keep full control over your options instead of putting yourself at the mercy of VZW and HTC.
The only thing I want to know is, if anyone downloaded it, does it have the disable apps feature.
It would be so much Verizon's style to not include this.
Then again this is a leak and not the final version.
I hope that the native"disable" feature makes the cut, to be able to stop the bloat from consuming resources.
Thanks, again!
Actually..... you can flash back to GB with the new radios. People have done it. As long as you have a nandroid backup of GB, a GB rom and kernel, you're good to go. You won't have the old radio's but that's about it.This is why I wish we had S-OFF. Lots of people think there isn't much value in S-OFF since we have htcdev unlock but the ability to nandroid backup, flash this leak with new radios, and flash back to stock, is something I miss being able to do (as was possible on my old hTC EVO).

So you would recommend taking a stock phone and upgrading to ICS? No worries?
