I hope you will figure it out soon, because my stock rom is terrible! (I can upload my stock rom (VIPserbia) for you if it helps)
About ram... mentioned on some Serbian sites (Android Srbija Forum - Pogledaj temu - Stigo naslednik-Vip Droid II) and that roms when I instal dont work touchscreen... roms found here ?? After discovering that pandora doesn't work with aftermarket ROMs, I was a lirtle irritated, but I found slacker radio on the market and can can confirm that it works :). Hooray for music streaming!
 
Same thing here with sms...same carrier (VIP Serbia),and phone is unusable without possibility to send/receive sms.Is there a chance to fix this?
I would really like to use this rom but that is not possible without this feature.
 
ROM is excellent. It is fast, stable, but we have a problem with SMS. Do not send and receive messages. I hope that with 2.3.5 ROM version solved the problem. Sorry for bad English and thanks to hard work.
 
I didn't quite catch this,this is not 2.3.5.?Are you working on another version? How to solve this sms issue, is there any possibility for that?
 
If you will read the first post, where he always updates, you would see he is moving, will be back soon.
This ROM is based on a stock rom. He is working on 2.3.5, in another thread, but it is not ready yet.
 
Sorry,I missed that part.I flashed Pro100-Winston rom yesterday,so it would be easier to wait for that one,since stock rom sucks big time.
 
I flashed another rom today and bricked my phone.All I can see now is an AT&T logo in a bootloop.If anyone has any info on how to unbrick,please post.
 
I did it,flashed brazilian stock rom 2.3.5. and it works fine.Definately USA roms won't work on european devices.Thanks guys.
 
since this phonr can be clocked at 1ghz i wonder if 4.0 could be ported. are there any devices similar to the avail that have a 4.0 stock rom?
 
I'm running at 1.1ghz with no issues (1.2 gets unstable, at least on one.one it did) so I think that's the limit, unless you wanna toss some lesser numbers into the mix.
 
Unfortunately,I cannot OC my phone cause the kernel in stock roms won't allow it,so I must wait for a fully working custom rom to do it.If anyone knows how to do it on a stock rom,please post it here.
 
I'm pretty sure you can't OC higher than 600 on the stock kernel.

@the guy who said he's OCd to 1.1... how did you do that? The script Anthony made?
 
the only two phones from ZTE that i could find on 4.0 haven't even been released yet from what ive read so i guess thats a fail. So i guess that would mean the only other option would be a ROM built and compiled from source.
 
CM 7 and CM9 has been ported to a similar device that will work with our device but touch screen is broke with CM7. I have not tested CM9 yet but I think it has the same issue.
