what do you like to do with your note?

Im talking like exclusively for the note. Oh course you can do the drawing and stuff but i just like the s pen to navigate the browser. So nice to not zoom in on smaller links. I love the new game draw somthing. If u have a note your awesome at that game. So what do you guys like to do with your note?????

I use mine as a jukebox in my car. It's mounted to the dash and Poweramp makes it so the screen doesn't turn off and I can always see the album art on the gigantic 800p screen.

I just got my note on tuesday after defecting from blackberry. I've been plugging it into my car stereo and streaming stations I cant get with my XM.

Yeah, Draw Something seems built for the Note. It's such a popular game... i say Samsung should incorporate showing that game in their commercials. I laugh at my wife trying to play that game on her small iPhone using her finger! :D

I will soon be using it as a fitness monitor when i'm running and biking. Just ordered a bike mount and a chest strap heart rate monitor. Monitor will link via Bluetooth to the phone running Endomondo or Runkeeper. I currently have a heart rate monitor watch, which is old and ugly, so this will be far more powerful, and now I can get a normal watch. :)

I use my for music, co-pilot the odd movie, games, social media and as my PDA... Oh and to make the odd call.

The screen size is perfect for movies & navigation

I love taking notes with this thing for my classes i didnt think it could actua
Ly replace me book and pen. But i actually find it easier and more pleasent, completely changed how i do notes for class.

ye im thinking of gettin the Note - and this was one function i was wondering about the Note and Pen.

I have finished my studies but for projects etc if im away from computer i whip out my pen n paper. But its annoying i have to type the notes.

So u can actually write notes with the pen? Whats it like exactly? : )

ebooks, videos, musics and yes, finally: BROWSING ON THE GO!
Even better than my Archos 70it with its 7" screen but limited hardware :)

It's really handy for writing notes with the pen. If you need to jot something really quick you just hold the button down on the pen and double tap the screen, no matter what you're doing. If you have plenty to write down you can open the full version of the app and have plenty of space and can even zoom in allowing you to write even smaller and fit more into one note. I highly recommend it.

I recently jumped on the "Draw Something" game band wagon... fun to play against my kids who play the same game on their Kindles. The pen and nice screen makes drawing a pleasure. My wife has a hard time playing it with her finger on her small iPhone screen! :D

I think Samsung really needs to partner with that game in their commercials. It's the #1 app on iOS and Android right now, and the Note is a huge selling point for this game. I can see some crazies buy the Note just for the purpose of playing that game. :)

You can actually take a full day of notes on this phone? First i'd think you'd need to replace the battery a few times, and second you can't fit all that much text on one Note page. You would have to use a lot of note pages, right? I imagine note taking would be better for the odd quick note that you need to jot down quickly.

sorry this might sound dumb but what do u by browsing on the go? Is web browsing even better on the note?

Yes, absolutely. Compared to Archos 70IT, The Note has:

1. Dual core processor with faster frequencies (2x1.2 Ghz vs 1x1 Ghz)
2. Higher memory (1GB vs 256 mb)
3. Much higher application installation space (1.5 GB vs 128 mb). Install all apps!
4. HDSPA+ radio instead of WIFI only.

Those three contributes to force-close free browsing using Opera Mobile on The Note. I also can browse everywhere now, as long as I have data service :)

And 5" screen can be seen as a blessing too since I can hold it easier and it got higher resolutions too. The downside is something I need to squint, but not many times.

I don't get much of a look in. My son has hijacked it and uses it as his portable games machine :-( - when i can get my hands on it, business use, emails, browsing, messages, whatsapp, to-do lists, all the boring stuff. I loaded it up with music (with 64gb sdcard) and had all the album art in hi-res (album covers look GREAT at 800x800 pixels), but again, i dont get my hands on it enough to use it as a music player! Oh and use it when poss as camcorder and camera for family use.

For browsing i use DOLPHIN. I like the fact that it has the option to open all windows in native format not cellphone automatically, tabbed browsing and also the launch screen is great with its tailorisable favourites.

Dolphin is good, I especially gesture bookmarks. Great feature. But Dolphin does seem to be a bit buggy wrt flash.

Opera is a bit better in that respect, and has text reflow (though not as good as the HTC stock browser).

If Dolphin fixed their flash bugs, and did some text wrap I'd drop Opera, as I love the gesture bookmarks. Very nice feature.

I dont see bugs myself but im not really using many flash sites, i guess. If you double tap the screen on text when zoomed out it will zoom in and reflow text. Its a nice feature when you get used to it.

Have been dabbling with some of the games my son loves. Some are quite addictive! Battleheart, hack n slash with some RPG elements and also Cut the rope which is pretty ingenious. And also that draw something game which is fun :-). Also for audiobooks there are some great free apps.

On the business front. Most interesting is the Polaris office suite which is free and opens and edit's MS files readily. Very useful indeed!
