Root [ROM] Froyocream Sandwich v2.0 released: 3/29

Curious, I have been stuck on froyocream for ages, and love it. But I see you guys, ziggy/mobster use minimal triumph. Whats better, quicker? Less issues(not that I have any)? Better battery life even? I guess I feel somewhat like I am all set up on froyocream, and I guess I don't really care to make the switch with all my home screens set. But I have eyeballed that minimal rom for a while now pondering to myself.

its really personal preference. i like the way minimal triumph looks.

hey ive ran into a weird problem i cannot get root access with root explorers, and i cannot remove system apps. i am using rom toolbox but have tried others with no luck. any suggestions>?

Make sure you have USB Debugging turned on.

So, how is the black on black background in menus? Is it fixed?

There is one thing I saw but I do not know if it can be adjusted. I was looking the at "system/customize/widget.txt" and I see this following string:

toggleWifi|toggleBluetooth|toggleGPS|toggleMobileData|toggleSound|toggleBrightness

Is it possible to change the value to Airplane mode over lets say brightness toggle? I would like to have this option as my own personal preference, thanks.

if i recall i think airplane mode doesn't work but you can try if you want just cut out "toggleBrightness" and replace it with "toggleAirplane"

This is great to know! Thanks Mobstergunz, hows the gaming if you know. I love my Bouncy Mouse and Radiant HD but the latest CM7 with new GPU drivers crashes the games every time, even at stock clock.

LATE EDIT: The games still crash on most ROMs on the Triumph, I guess its the apps to blame.

Ohh and the black on black background mentioned since version 1.2, is that fixed? I really would love to sink my teeth on the vanilla and chocolate floured flavored ICS

I do not see OCKernel on the ROM features. Does it have overclock?

Also, is there a way to decompile the ROM theme to .pngs to overwrite them then recompile them again? I wanna replace the froyo themed tabs into black and ICS colored stripes at the bottom; current tab being bolder, similar to this theme below:

PS: How I change my carrier name? And many other system tweaks?

The toggle modifications work like a charm and I noticed we have a VM heap of 48MB from the start. Nice!

Cool glad you liked it but the next update will have the VM heap at 42MB since its more efficient even Dual Core phones run at that

This ROM is just as awesome than TG-Reloaded and it feels like I have not scarifice anything other than system tweaks. Is there a way to disable compatibility mode because two apps have it aspect and not fully strecthed. In CM7, I used the compatibility to fixed it, but I can't do with what I have, any suggestions?

They're probably finalizing it for release. You won't be disappointed though, the update makes it one of the best, if not THE best ROM out there.

First off, Iwant to thank the two devs (mob&zig,right?) for the time and devotion put toward this great Rom. Ran into a teensy little snag last night tho. When i tried sending a ringtone to a buddy, the SMS program FCed immediately after i attached the audio. I went and got Handcent, and got the tone sent, no problem. But as I am not a 14yr old girl(sorry HCfans...), i don't really wanna keep HC on my phone. Seeing as i havent read about this yet, i thought ya all might like to know about it.

Also...i have noticed in a few of my apps, the font color makes some or all of the buttons invisible. Another minor issue, but felt compelled to mention it. Possibly i just wanted more time practicing on this MessageEase keyboard i am rocking...;}
