For all we care, AT&T can keep the phone. Let them have a bad phone and bad network.

The reason that I would say that we would have more than 256 RAM is because the ERIS has 286. Now, you might say that the Droid has 256 and it is a high-end phone, so we should be scared. BUT WAIT! It runs vinilla Android where the Eris and Incredible will run sense therefore needing more RAM.

I rest my case. I have lost no sleep over this RAM issue.

I forgot about the MOTO thing. that would make sense. I remember hearing a little while back that there is one rumored to be 4.3" screen ala Supersonic. That, if real, could be a great Supersonic competitor.

Anyway, I believe in my LTE iphone theory only because, business-wise, it is extremely logical to some extent if...IF the iphone leaves AT&T. Personally, I don't think that an LTE-capable phone will be available before Christmas, at the earliest. The network just isn't there yet. Here's to hoping that VZW gets their s**t in gear and develops the crap out of it in 2010.



Jobbers can sure hold a grudge, that's true. Could be a good sign for all Verizon Android lovers out there though

There won't be an iphone this year on Verizon because AT&T keeps throwing money at apple.

But for all you people who think they won't release a CDMA version. Any Verizon LTE phone needs to be able to support CDMA. Just like a 3g phone falls back to 2g when out of 3g coverage. As good Verizon map claims they are, they still need 2g and 3g support in all phones.

Can we please stop talking about that smartphone-lite phone please?

OK, Prediction. The Incredible and Supersonic will both share the same camera resolution, it will be greater than 5MP, and the model for the Supersonic will be PC36100

I wouldn't go to the extent of calling the iPhone a bad phone. Anyways, only 18 more days till we will hear some official information on either the Nexus One or HTC Incredible or both.

Well im just gonna say that's your opinion. Have you had the luxury of owning and using the phone for a decent amount of time? I don't want to sound like some fanboy but i just don't think the iPhone deserves this kind of bashing considering it's still one of the best devices out there ATM no doubt. Phones like the Nexus One and droid are good competition but it just makes you think what the next iPhone is going to be like, how amazing it can possibly be or maybe how un-amazing it might be.

Anyways, don't really wanna continue some argument over the iPhone but i guess everyone has their opinions on it.......seems more like biased ones though.

Gah!!! I cannot wait for the 23rd of march, i really wish there will be more news for HTC incredible by then, but for now i am pinning my hopes on the N1 the phone looks fantastic and going by the date, it is one week after my birthday! Booyah! Carry on guys, you guys rock!

The way it looks so far based entirely off assumptions/rumors:

N1 - flagship (no underclocked processor, good amount of ram)

Incredible - eris replacement (underclocked snapdragon, and an unconfirmed less amount ram).

I really could care less if the phone did come with less ram. I'd still buy it as I need to fill the gap that was left when my droid was returned. Looks like we won't be seeing a HD2 variant, but I'm hoping we get something by the holiday season this year. I'm sure the incredible/N1 will be more than enough to hold me over till then.

I'm glad that you are defending your phone, but when I post, it is my opinion and no one else's. So don't get offended. My best friend hates the way the Nexus One looks even though I think it looks amazing. I'm fine with that because it is her opinion. So I apologize. Everything I say is not the opinion of more than one person.

March 23rd is going to be a big day for us! I can't wait. Even if nothing happens, I have something to look forward to.

Regardless of what any VZW CSR says, the nexus one will be sold by google and only google...they will NEVER give up on their dream of changing the cell industry...especially after only three months. IDK why any of you guys would think differently...sure, it would make perfect sense cause it would sell better, yes, but google...being the billion dollar corporation that it is, isn't into selling the nexus one because they want to make a billion dollars...they are selling it to shake up the industry, to show off android as they see it...thats it, I just got home from a St. Pattys day parade in Hoboken NJ and I'm drunk...so don;t mind me lol

I like the Incredible colors, if the back is black. I think all black with the red side buttons looks mad hot.

I actually agree with you guys though. It's hard to believe Google would switch it up. It's possible, but I dunno. There are compelling reasons on both sides (sold in store and not sold in store). VZW could just be saying that it will be sold in store to keep people interested and anticipating. Although, I dunno what they will do when it isn't then lol. I hope it is sold in store, but I WON'T be surprised if it is not.

Just went to PC Richard appliance store. They have a VZW Kiosk. The VZW CSR knew all the rumors. He said that the Nexus One is going to be sold in stores. I asked him where he got this info. He said Phone Arena!

I then told him I doubted that because of the big iPhone rumor that turned out to be false. He then told me it wasn't false. He said that VZW didn't want to have the iPhone compete with the Palm Pre Plus and the Droid, but that it is indeed coming to VZW in the future. I asked him how he knew that. He told me that the VZW area rep told him that.

So according to him:

1) N1 will be sold in stores
2) so will the iPhone.

I told him that he can expect this to be all over the internet by tomorrow. He laughed.

On another note. I called VZW and they told me that they had the N1 as in the system but they couldn't tell me who was going to sell it and what date it will be launched.

Just to set the record straight, there's no connection between LTE and CDMA with respect to an iPhone model supporting CDMA. An iPhone on Verizon today would require a separate build by Apple to support CDMA, which they may not want to build. An LTE model, say next year, would be multi-carrier compatible and would still permit Apple to build a single device. Qualcomm has a new radio that supports LTE with fallback capability to both CDMA and GSM 3G standards. Sorta like a "one device fits all" which is exactly what Apple would want.
