Anyone have problems with their text messages never sending?

My phone has been doing this and the text message will always be sending or just never go through. Any solutions to this problem? Thank you.
 
I think it has to do with the Mobile Network Unavailable error/poor antenna that is rumored to be fixed on the upcoming update.

I've had this happen on occasion. On the filp side, when receiving messages, I often get duplicates. Strange.
 
same here. Known issue with the Galaxy Nexus specifically the VZW one. Same thing happens to me on the reg. There is currently no real SOLID fix for this.


OP is this a VZW galaxy Nexus you're referring to?

I've had this happen as well. I'm pretty sure you're correct on it being connected to the Galaxy Nexus losing the network signal.

I also have a problem from time to time. 4.0.4 radios even. So hopefully the rumored 4.0.5 update fixes this...
 
I've never had this. Odd. Hope it doesn't start. I send probably 25-50 sms a day, maybe I'm just sending mine at the right time. SMS messages are not sent over the data network though, so it is odd that this is an issue for people who aren't losing phone signal.
 
YES! This has been happening to me a lot lately. I obviously know if it is sent or not to a VZW customer...but I wonder how many texts to non-VZW customers didn't go through and I didn't know to resend??? :confused:
 
This happens to me all the time at home. This problem seams to correlate with not being able to place outgoing calls. This may be a 1x signal issue with the radios. It is extremely frustrating! My 3G internet connection is fantastic but I can't send a text? Ridonkulous! Hopefully this upcoming update will fix this crap.
 
Yup, I've had intermittent issues sending SMS messages. I'd say about 5% of them don't send and I have to re-send them. Also, about 1/3 of the SMS/MMS messages I receive, I receive duplicates of, sometimes 3-4 duplicates too :confused:.

I'm also running the 4.0.4 radios.
 
Hey, i have the galaxy nexus on sprint and even when i have i full signal it doesn't send text messages. Sometimes i have to turn the phone off and on (full reboot) and it works again, but sometimes even after rebooting it doesn't send text messages.

Currently running 4.0.4, does anyone know when the new update is coming out?
 
im having the same issue with a few not sending, and dup recieving. Not a lot, maybr 5% of the time. Still annoying. Usually a reboot fixes it.
