Root [Boost Mobile] Need help. Phone does not vibrate at all

I recently noticed that my phone does not vibrate at all for anything, ie, calls, notifications, alarm, etc. I follow this forum daily I tend to try out any mods, roms, tweaks, etc that pop up on here that could enhance my phone and knowledge. Currently running Shinjitsu 1.5b, tried WP7, and $hevron. Ran hroark's bootwithadbenabled.zip like he suggested to someone else with a vibrating issuse. I have a lot of apps installed so I have no idea which if any if those would be it. As I am writing this it just dawned on me that it is most likely a hardware issue since the problem exists on all roms including stock, and the phone gets wiped before flashing. It also exists before restoring my apps so that makes it being an software issue unlikely. So... I guess i'm asking if anyone has any other way for me to be sure it is a hardware fault and not some missing file(s), config or setting.
 
use titanium backup to backup your apps then re-install my rom if vibrations still don't work then it is a hardware issue, no one has had an issue with vibration with my rom
 
Yeah, i'm pretty sure it is hardware related because I've flashed your rom(s) several times (great work by the way!) I guess I was just hoping for someone to post "Hey flash this zip, add these lines of code, shake it three times then balance it on your nose for 3 seconds and it will all be fixed!" or something simpler. I hear you, agree with you, but am too subborn to stop trying to troubleshoot yet. Thanks much.

Yeah my vibrate has yet to work either but oh well just gives me an excuss to ignore text :P
 
It's not like I miss it I just want to know what happened and why. I understand that tech sometimes breaks for no reason. I was just hoping that this wasn't one of those times.

Strangely enough, I noticed this just before reading the thread, I have haptic feedback but no vibration for notifications...
