And Wayne you will still have $50 unlimited until you change devices our choose to change it so no need to change it as of yet

Yup, they may force this upon us sometime in the future but afaik we are all not going to be affected(Someone Stated except For The Ones That Havent Had The Device For Over 30 Days)

There are only 500,000 subs on Metro who use 4G...the other 8,500,000 don't even use LTE so I don't think they're going to lose a ton of customers at all. Plus as of right now it appears that current 4G subs are grandfathered into their old plans...then again there's no guarantees they won't change that at some point

People who have the old $60 or $50 4g plans will keep the same plan, you guys are all grandfather in. The new price plans start today for new subscribers.
 
This does take affect today inorder to be grandfather in you have to have had the plane for 30 days other wise this will effect you

Dang it -_- I've had the $50 plan for a long time but I just recently for the esteem on the 19th of March. Does it still affect me?

Seems like the new $50 plan is the same only 2.5gb limit instead of 1gb, thats better isnt it?

No because the old one was only for some sort of data usage so I never went past 1gb. The new one, every data usage goes to the limit. Or so they say.
 
Wow I would have changed my plan to the $50 from the $60 at the beggining of my last billing cycle (the 7th of march)
Well im about to make a bid on a sensation for t-mobile

The old $50 plan only counted data when it came to YouTube streaming or to Rhapsody streaming up to 1GB and unlimited web at 4G. The new plan counts everything as part of the 2.5GB including web browsing, streaming, email, Facebook, uploading, and downloading.

i remember hearing about metro changing their plan and they finally did. But good thing is if you were on the $60 plan with unlimited everything, it want change.

Cool, i got the 3 phone family plan w/$60 on mine. mine is the only Android the other 2 are not, that being said my monthly payment is $126.00 a month.

Sweet, metro should have just left everything like it was and made the $70 plan with raphsody and ondemand like they have it now, but with all the music people can get and how cheap music is today on Play Google, who needs raphsody. ;)

Interesting. 2.5gB for the $50 and 250mB for the $40 and multimedia streaming throttle at 1gB and and 100mB. Web surfing should be solid? Im confused.

Look at your data usage, I think they gave you the old plan but are counting all your data use towards the limit. I just paid my bill Friday and its already at 3% with almost no data use and no streaming at all.

Metro is going to move everyone to LTE next year. So yes, this is going to come back to bite them in the ass.
