For normal use is it ok to keep at 946 and set governor to on demand?
 
I just installed 3.4 . I had tried to download it last night, but I was getting less than 5 kilobytes/sec on mediafire. Was finally able to download it a couple of hours ago, flashed it and then I tried downloading Titanium Backup to restore my apps. Unfortunately, I ran in to an issue. While Titanium Backup was installing, the phone would vibrate, freeze, and then crash. The same occurred with several other apps. I attempted to re-flash and factory reset but the result remained the same. Finally, I decided to delete the .zip I had and re-download it. Flashed the new copy and everything was working fine. However, now for some reason the phone restarts about every 10 minutes and all apps I have installed disappear.

you could try it that way, if your phone has a random reboot then you'll need to lower the clock some till its stable.

Alright thanks Blood. I ran the benchmark a couple more times set at 946 and performance and was scoring just under 2k. Thanks for the help.
 
For some reason I had to format my SD card. Now...I love 3.4 but how the hell do I go about getting all my contacts back? I backed up my card before it forced me to format and put the back up on my computer. Anyway I can get them back from that? Because for some reason whenever I sync my phone back to Google, it doesn't bring all my contacts back. Other things I can reinstall myself. But my contact is the only thing I need help with here.

your contacts should of been synced to your gmail account bro. if they weren't then the only thing i know of would be:

make a CWM backup
restore to the backup you made before you installed 3.4
sync your contacts up with gmail
restore to your 3.4 backup and you should be good

Seriously, what are your future plans for ChickenTits? Also, is there a possiblity for a screen brightness button in the notifications drop down? It looks like we can toggle everything but the brightness...

There will be other versions and there was a brightness widget before but it didn't work so i removed it. one of these days I'll get it working lol.

I'm not going to the warp, I will be doing some shit for the Marquee tho.

One, have any of you been getting the extreme lag and crash? (The only way to repair or recover from this is to reboot).
I don't think its the ROM.
BUT wanna ask here just in case.
Its happened quite a few times now.

Two.
What's the lowest voltage level that prevail can run with?
I wanna be saving battery.
I know people are going up to 900mhz I wanna go the opposite way that it runs.

I flashed this and I dont to much like the boxes that you can use to put more programs up. Is there any way to set that to the sideways scroll like has been in the other CTMods?

Im talking about on the dock on the home screen by the way.
 
From what I understand this version is built with xperia launcher.. but you can always change it back to zeam launcher by copying the zeam launcher apk in /system/app folder and deleting the xperia one... then reboot... or get it from market it and install..not sure if xperia allows sideways dock and I'm not sure if it was included in the removed apps. Bloodawn usually includes with newer versions .. maybe that will help..

The lagg and crash is happening to me too..

That's the thing.
I did not move the voltage.
This was. And has been happening to me since 3.3
I'm either browsing the web, looking for my porn.
Or I'm play I g a game that isn't gpu heavy.
Like scrabble (words with friends) or scramble.
Either or the phone "loads" it gets stuck.
But pressing back or home does nothing.
And if you turn it off it takes a second.
And if you double tap the lock button it turned the screen off and On but its still lagging.
No modifications on mine bro.
Just plain. Ol CTMod 3.4.
Volt default.
SSM default. Only one partition I believe.
I have the weather Widgets.
Don't think that matters but all info is good info.
I do got juice defender on.
But I've had it off for a few days before too.
If you need more info let me know what you need.
 
Yes and the icons are just a little bigger than zeams at the bottom for phone,contacts,messagin, app grid, browser, etc. My problem is that I bounce so much between this rom and cm7 that sometimes I trick myself! ;) But, really the only thing I've seen is that cm7 runs smoother when I play Angry Birds Space on it than CTMod with the same CPU settings... 98-968mhz on demand and deadline.. same setup pretty much set for both ROMs... But other than that they're great.. I really didn't know until just now that this ROM is also based off the Admire 2 Prevail 2.3.6.. So you. Blood. You've had this for awhile before we all got to see it from Hroark! :p

I think you guys do one hell of a job cooking us up some sweet and mean ROMs.. Appreciate it very much.. just thought I'd let ya know what I have experienced.. 3g seems fine on both other than I have to disable wifi on cm7 my wifi is acting up.. because my Verizon router was acting goofy..so that's how I discovered it..

What is the default for CPU Governor? I played around with it and I can't remember.

Also, What would be the best settings for battery saving.

mines been running great and someone somewhere else said when they used voltage had problems and switched to cpu and is better i'm running ctmod 3.4 kk2.4 ssm with cpu and 120 min and 946.... max on conservative all the time with no lag crash and only when charging and gps on or talking battery will get to 101. other than that doing anything else batter is at 82-95:D
