Eris OTA Update

If we don't have it by the end of the month, just think about all the threads and posts you will see on 4/1/2010 saying something similar.

No kidding. The only thing keeping from moving forward with upgrading is a stern warning from my Wife (my Eris was an early Christmas gift afterall). It seems like the easiest process in the world (coming from the old days of flashing an Palm III); there isn't much to guess at. It's difficult to even isolate a question that hasnt been answered already, everyone seems so informed... over-informed at times. ;)

It isn't hard to do at all, but nobody wants "the boss" mad at us. I updated my phone, but my girlfriend won't let me touch hers. She wants "all the bugs gone" before she updates. I just smile and say ok, knowing full well that a bug free systems are only available to Apple fanboys/girls.

Going out on a limb here. I don't think they will follow through either. Until that lawsuit is settled I think they will withhold the OTA. I personally believe that's why it was leaked.

It will be able 7 years before the lawsuit goes to court, but it wont end up in court, it will be worked out of court, thats the way things roll.

HTC JUST found out about being served days ago. The leaked came out before that. They are two different things, HTC will continue to roll out dual/pinch touch phones with android on it for years.

Is it my imagination, or does it seem there are more Android Market update notifications in the exact position our update notification should be?! Just taunting those of us who have chosen to wait for the OTA (for now).
