No go on MMS...

hmmm....I guess we gotta try the old way because they got it working on the OV now.

still no go with the MMS but I did find this in the log

also here is an edited /system/framework/framework-res.apk, this fixes the Service provider from Virgin to MetroPCS

also I just pulled telephony.db, and there was nothing written in it. maybe the old fix may work for this right now, but I'm restoring my phone back cuz I have somewhere to go :)
 
hi love the rom but having trouble with the app store some apps download and some dont and also how do i remove apps off my home screens ??????????????

Force close market through settings

You can't this is similar to iPhone app drawer.....MIUI was made to look like iOS to begin with....
 
one more question every time i put it in to storage mode it reboots why is that im trying to put stuff on my sd card

Same as OP, do not install gapps though:
1)Wipe everything
2)Install 3/23/12
3)Boot into phone, reboot into recovery
4)Wipe /cache, dalvik cache
5)Install 4/14/12 (link below)

[COLOR="Red"][SIZE="5"]Make sure you follow the instructions or else it will not boot or you will get a boot loop!!!!!
Make Nandroidbackup if you don't have one![/SIZE]

Mms is working for me, I just flashed the MetrOFF.zip and selected my apn, and Viola, it works!

Custom carrier text doesn't work for me? And also why is the messaging back to the cyanogenmod look? I preferred the miui one!

Try reppards MMS fix, if you look a couple threads down in the all things root section, there's my mms guide with reppards fix in it.

Well I tried reppards cwm one, and it changed my messaging.apk again!? But the mms works. So I'm going to try just inputting the apn settings manually from a fresh rom install, cause I like MIUI messaging better...

How do I install this framework-res.apk?
