I have done that and confirmed mms working... it deletes the messaging.apk so I used titanium backup to backup MIUI messaging before I flashed the metrOFF.zip and restored it after the flash, so mms works and I have MIUI messaging.

I didnt see this post...did you do a full wipe before doing it?
Like start over from the beginning?

I don't have MIUI installed right now.....

What did you get with playfulgod's fix?, also which dated ROM are you using as the update? because I had 4/14/12 up for a bit, but then Primed told me to take it off because MMS still not working...

They both worked. And I'm on the one you just posted above.
 
I noticed gannon also made an MIUI V4 rom if you would like to try and port it?
It could possibly be FULL MIUI. Idk just a thought
 
well how do i reach my apps? also when i get a new txt it shows a pop up and on the side the time say 19:30?? can i change it to say the regular clock time

All your apps that you download will show up on your home screens, I'm not to sure about the military time, I haven't seen it yet. Ill check it out.
 
yea, for that you will have to flash the MMS fix made by PlayfulGod......the MIUI MMS.apk is the problem....for some reason, if we put the MIUI MMS.apk back on after flashing, it works

Hey I just got an idea....since MIUI MMS works after it is replaced...
Android?What!? can you pull the MIUI MMS.apk after you fixed MMS and send it to me? Thanks
