Lets see your UI layout!

any home replacements out there that have a nice full screen calendar widget included? I absolutely love the HTC widget, Its the only reason I'm still using Sense.

I just tried putting some custom icons but they came out all pixelated....bummer

Edit: The desire icons you posted worked great. Thanks mothy. But the Icon packs from bettercut still came out goofy

What icons are you looking for, I have thousands, sets ranging from the Blackberry ones, new and old, iPhone, Droid Eclair, windows 7/Vista, MAC OSX. I can start uploading some packs if you like.

Anyone else besides me using both the dxTop and HTC Sense? I switch by using the Home. I don't set a default action. I like this instead of having to switch between scenes. I like to have the option to use both "OS". Do we call dxTop, HTC Sence, Open Home, and aHome? HTC Scene wasn't ideal til I used BetterCut with it so I can edit the icon pictures and rename the icons.

I use the normal lock screen. I noticed a decent lag when using lockbot and also it would show me the custom lock screen and then my default one so i just deleted. maybe I had something set wrong but it didnt do that at first. oh well.

Unfortunately it's not a simple process.

- Download the Android SDK here: Android SDK | Android Developers
- Run 'SDK Setup.exe' and install the Android 1.5 package and USB driver package
- In Windows Device Manager use the USB driver that was downloaded to install the USB driver in Windows
- Make sure you have Java installed, and Java /bin/ directory is in your Windows PATH variable (In a command prompt type "java" and if it says unrecognized command you need to do this: Find your Java /bin directory, should be something like C:\Program Files\Java\jre.ver.number\bin\ and go to a cmd prompt and type: path C:\thatdirectoryhere)
- Enable USB Debugging on your phone: Settings > Applications > Development
- Run ddms.bat in the /tools/ directory of the Android SDK with your phone plugged in
- Select your phone from the list on the top left of the window
- Go to Device > Screen Capture to capture and save screen shots

Most of those seem to be on the Droid. I'd like to see what Eris users have done with Sense UI.
Sorry for the bump, but I'm trying to take a photo of my layout on 2.1...

I get stuck at the step "- Run ddms.bat in the /tools/ directory of the Android SDK with your phone plugged in".

I "run" it by double clicking (?) and all that happens is a command windows blinks open and then immediately closes without being able to read anything. Repeated all steps, and not sure why it does that. Maybe I'm not "running" it properly?

Please, any assistance? Thanks,

I do like Home switcher. Very convenient. The only issue I got now is that when I change the Home, the wallpaper seems to be universal for them all. Thoughts? Something to do with the Sense's scene?

Which operating system are you running on your PC? I was having that problem with the 64-bit version of Windows 7. I had to update my JDK to the Windows 7 64-bit version. Java SE Downloads - Sun Developer Network (SDN)

Also, make sure you installed the USB driver.

New firmware, new home screen! :D

Just caught up with the requests for clock/weather widget info on this... it's the Beautiful Widgets app, the clock is called Airport One and it's the Beautiful Home Small version. Works for 1.5 as well. Enjoy!
