Root Too late for MIUI Gingerbread?

I'm back and this I swear this is my last post tonight lol.

I'm getting the same WeatherBug error. It says

The application WeatherBugElite (process com.aws.android.elite)has stopped unexpectedly.Please try again
 
I noticed that on the menu for phone info trying to open the menu for status opens Google legal And the menus under that don't do a thing when pressed
 
One more thing when playing music I noticed that when you out the volume all the way up the sound seems like it's gonna blow up the speakers (haven't tried if same thing happens with head phones mainly because I don't put my volume all the way up with them)
 
quick note about milocker. I have noticed after installing milocker and even after uninstalling it I was able to apply icons as you normally would. Can someone confirm on this for me. I know the milocker app is the exact same as the normal locker for miui but may fix some hickumerp.
 
@wilalva : this is compatible with DSP Manager from CM7, I use it to apply a Bass Reducer equalizer setting to the Phone Speaker and it works excellently!

B-love and I have been chatting about methods for changing icons and themes etc..etc..I myself have not tried milocker out yet because I have been able to install themes directly out of the theme chooser app from ROM...which by the way I am sure several of you know are super awesome!!! I have tested this method on a couple theme packages and they have all worked, even the lockscreen installed without having to do by itself.
Since reading what B-love posted about the lockscreen part needing to be installed separatley because it cause the phone to stay locked, I have started unchecking the lockscreen option before theme package install.
Some issues I have come across: downloads sometimes take FOREVER!!! Some theme packages start to download then fail, so it is a touch and go.....

Just thought I'd put this out there to see if anyone else has tried, if not it gives another option for us without having to use milocker.

What I can't understand is the drastic difference in 3G speeds between this and regular CM7. Sitting at home on the couch I flip back and forth and I have four bars in CM7 and in MIUI I have none
 
For those of you that have been able to apply themes..... does the whole theme apply when you follow the directions that Blovadova gave earlier (posted below). Making the "theme" folder then going in to the theme setting and selecting only the icons and nothing else?

If anyone has been successful at applying a theme, please post the steps you used if they are different from Blovadovas. Thank you

It might say 'converting theme to new format', let it do that. Lot of themes here MIUITHEMES

Lockscreen Themes: If you'd like to have themes for Lockscreen, check this thread out. Place it in the SDcard/MIUI/theme and apply from themes>customize>lockscreen and apply that theme. Some are shabby but most are pretty darn good. Or milocker.

Wet....You can apply all aspects of the theme using the theme app that is included in the ROM...check my post, a couple of posts up....the themes I tested installed icons, lockscreen, wallpapers, etc. However because B-love posted that lockscreen part of a theme could create issues I no longer installed that option. The method that B-love posted did not work for me so I tried the app.....as mentioned in my earlier post, known issues include, length of theme download, download failing and some themes not downloading at all...so like I said it is a hit and miss......have you tried the theme app?
 
Okay check all your status bars and your options and power options... if you cant read them just choose the default themes framework and status bar that should do the trick.

Edit: I can't update my SC.. My phone re-boots every time I hook it to usb while its on... Anyone else>

Thanks Olicious and thanks go out to DaisFlaque too. I'm now running the Transformer theme installed with the theme app. I installed everything but the lockscreen components, applied those using MiLocker. Didn't take but a couple of minutes to DL on wifi too. :aetsch: LOL.
This ROM is SWEET! Time 2 DL some more themes and start a collection.
I just wish I could get SeekDroid and WeatherBug Elite to work now. Both keep force closing on me.:ahhhhh:I've tried just about everything I know but still can't get them 2 work. Any suggestions??

EDIT: Didn't install the fonts either, I can do that with Absolute System Tools for Root Users(cool app). They looked like they were in Japanese.
