No 720p recording.

Not sure about Google voice. Didn't make note of it.

The capacitive buttons seems to respond well. I didn't have an issue with them.

I don't have the phone right now so I can't get a picture from it.

NKT, do the capacitive buttons provide a decent quality haptic response? Or are they fast to respond to a light touch? Much obliged!

The Incred. is 4.6 tall/ 2.3 wide/ .46 thick (based on NKT specs.) *3.7" screen

Eris is 4.45 tall/ 2.19 wide/ .51 thick *3.2" screen

and NP with the pix!!

Edit: That is in inches, I used a conversion calc. online. Also, the Eris weighs 4.20 Oz, NKT, said the Incred. was lighter feeling than the N1. The N1 weighs 4.59 OZ.

And if anyone cares the iPhone 3gs: 4.4 tall/ 2.2 wide/ .48 thick/ weighs 4.79 OZ

Hmm. Are you sure about these numbers? I'm pretty sure that my wife's iPhone is taller than my Eris.

Pretty sure it doesn't have Super OLED since the only size currently available is 3.3" and the 3.7" isn't due out til later this year.

I think the question that was posed was not whether the phone had 720p recording out of the box, but whether the hardware is capable of it and may be enabled in a future update, like the (I think) Desire...

I for one think that the hardware requirements for 720p ENcoding might exceed those for DEcoding but I can claim no real working knowledge of electronics of substance.

am i mistaken, but doesn't speech to text come as part of the 2.1 android automatically?

NKT, You probably don't know, but did the screen seem to have the same multitouch issues that the N1 did with it registering two points as flipped on the axis?

Got the #s off phone arena, for the iphone it was off memory so they could be wrong lol but close lemme look

edit: the iphone 3gs is 4.50 tall/ 2.40 wide/ .48 thick with 4.76 OZ weight ;)

Just fyi, I told my vzw "source" that I knew and s/he said, "you're too much!" and thanked me for my note. Notice that there no denial of the denial of these details.

Probably both announced at the same time (CTIA). Then N1 available probably first part of April through Google followed a couple weeks by the Incredible.

Sorry if this has been bought up already.

I was wondering if somebody who knows how these things are put together can tell from the photos if the antenna is in the same location as the Nexus One. I've heard of possible issues due to the antenna being near the bottom where your palm goes on the Nexus One, and thought maybe they've changed it on the Incredible. Maybe it's not possible to tell from what's here, but I figured it couldn't hurt to ask.

..and thanks NKT. Great info and photos!

Do you think Google will only give discounted price on individual plans and NOT family plans like they are doing with TMobile Now?

Yeah, but no confirmation either. Like I found out yesterday, they're being as tight-lipped as anything and when it comes to getting real, solid info from Verizon "no one is talking."
