That is more of a personal opinion. If you want to use apps that require a keyboard (like terminal emulator) then what do you do?

The terminal Emulator does not require a physical keyboard. I use it just fine with my Sprint HTC Hero. Just hold menu for a few seconds ;)

I don't think its coming to verizon thou is it even a phone? it would be way to big to carry around as a phone for me at least

No, it's coming to At&t, and yes, it is a phone. At&t worked better for me than Verizon. I now have a cooler phone, on a crappy network. :(

Keeping the Droid. It hasn't failed me yet and has more than met my expectations. I haven't even rooted because I haven't found a reason. It meets my needs.

I'll do what I usually do. I'll add a line and get one then return it after playing with it. If I do end up really liking the phone then I'll keep it.

The battery is just as crappy as the eris and there eris is no where near that fast or has all of those perks. So how do ya'll think the battery is going to last on it?

Too much of an investment of blood, sweat and tears in my Droid (hope it doesn't create moisture damage). It stays!

I take back some of my earlier statements about the Incredible's specs, and here is some proof from the legendary Stericson

So it isn't clocked to 768mhz nor is it a 768mhz processor. It's clocked to just shy of 1ghz. And it does have 6GB of internal storage, but not all of it is going to be usable for apps (likely under 1GB). It does have 1GB of RAM but less then half of it is available for some stupid reason.

Thanks for updating this just got done reading this over at the incredible forum. did you anybody see the nexus one is reported to have sense ui out of the box

I saw that the Nexus 1 is suppose to have Sense UI. I would like to try one of these new phones out, so I am going to let me wife get this next upgrade to get one of them. I love my Droid. I also really like the Droid Eris before my Moto Droid, but with all the tricks and time I have invested in the Moto Droid. I will be keeping it. I am intersted to see what will be the November show stopper phone with Verizon this year. I have a two more upgrades in Aug. and Nov. Most likely it will be something that will support LTE, 1.5ghz processor and 4.3" screen with Divx and blueray video capabilities.

Im definitely geting one of these phones but the decision is geting harder everyday now. Im the type of person who can't keep the same phone no longer then 6 months so when the next big thing comes later this summer/fall i will check that out to:D

I'm the same way. In the last 9 years I have only kept 1 phone for an entire your (iPhone). The only reason I kept that phone for so long is because nothing else was even close. Now that there are options I am back to a 6-9 month phone life. Plus I can't stand a phone with a keyboard, I just got the Droid to ditch AT&T.

I'm liking my Droid, but I'm starting to reallllly dislike one small thing...the phone keeps opening in my pocket. I don't want to have to keep a case in my pocket to put it in, and I don't keep it on my belt. I like the keyboard, but I'm starting to feel like I would sacrifice it in order to have a device that is just one solid machine without anything moving and/or sliding open.

Sticking with Moto Droid until VZW has a solid LTE footprint. Physical keyboard is certainly a plus, but for me it's having something faster than edge when I'm beyond the city limits. VZW is the only carrier that can keep me happy there, and the glass is SO much nicer than the crappy HTC plastic screens. Flash and hands-free dialing will be included in my next handset, so I may not be going Android when I finally upgrade.

What about a touch free phone that reads your mind?

Negative. I don't care how good a phone is, it just isn't worth having to to take it to VZ every single day when it melts down on me. That phone would be the equivalent of pushing every single button on your droid more than 10000 times per second for me. That's just asking for trouble.

;)

But, I don't think a phone like that would ever be sold in this state anyway. 60% of the people here wouldn't even be able to think long and hard enough to make it power up.
