NKT so if both phones were right out right now, Which one would you pick? The nexus one or the incredible? and why? thank you for your info

If you think your Voyager is bad try having a LG EnV the very first one not the EnV 2 or 3, the wait is killing me but it will be worth it.

The wait is what makes it better!!! Geez! What's wrong with you people?!!! ;)

I have been waiting since Sept AND it took me forever to convince the ole ball n' chain about adding the data plan. We are cheapskates in my household (saving for early retirement) but I need to have something shiny, new and electronic in my hands......and soon. AGGGGGGHHHHHHHH :D

Right now I would get the Incredible based off of specs and build quality. I haven't heard of any issues with it from people testing. On the other hand, the N1 has had lots of complaints.

Some can be fixed via software, some can't (screen/reception issues).

Add to the mix the Incredible will be sold in stores so there will probably be less issue getting replacements/support.

Just my .02

thank you nkt thats how i am feeling about it to. I just wish we didnt have to wait so long for it to come out but it will be worth it im sure

Why doesn't HTC develop Sense as a standalone O.S.? Perhaps that's the direction they intend to take it in long-term? Users seem to love it more than they do Android, truth be told. They're already half-way there and if they can bring together an app development community to support it, then that's just more choice we as consumers have in the mobile device market.

Android doesn't hold nearly as much allure to me as Sense. It's just an open Linux GUI that has a bunch of similar app's written to it as the iPhone does. Not sure what Sense was written with, but I presume Linux as well, yet its shell graces MS Win Mobile phones also, so perhaps someone out there knows more about this aspect than I? But I can easily see HTC morphing and becoming more like Apple - especially if their relationship with Google sours over the Apple lawsuit and should Microsoft go into producing their own phones that run Win Phone 7 and essentially cut them out as a hardware supplier.

The trend seems to be going in this direction and I can see a day where Apple, Google, Microsoft and HTC all have standalone hardware/software devices and potentially Samsung and Nokia as well. It's become all about having control over the hardware, software and content and when you contract either the hardware or software aspect of that out, you give up some modicum of control and put your fate in the hands of someone else.

they kind of are but its a dumbphone

It's a very tough choice...

The N1 feels VERY nice in the hand. With the curved edges, it just "feels" nice.

The Incredible, while still very nice to hold, just doesn't feel the same.

With that said, I like Sense UI so that rules out the N1. Plus I have heard about hardware quality issues with the N1 (reception, static, etc.).

They're both fantastic devices. So if you're on VZW and have a NE2 the Incredible would be the way to go without a doubt.

i have the storm and this phone sucks!!!!!!!! Cant wait to get my hands on a real phone. Someone here got a droid and our company email wasnt working right with it and he took it back. Anyone know what that was all about?

Here's NKT's pic with a higher contrast ratio...can anyone tell if it's microUSB from this pic?

In recent observations it seems that VZW really is only releasing phones with Micro USB anymore. I can't tell from the picture (looks thin and long like Micro), but I would put a few bucks on the fact that it will be MicroUSB

She gave me a daughter after a few years of her wanting to wait and me bugging her so she kinda has me by the balls in that sense. But she also likes the whole built in GPS, Google search aspect of Android. Plus I get a 20% monthly discount on voice and date (new job) each month which also helped.

After 30 years of marriage, I keep some boundaries! Stay away from my phone! ;)

Reflections:
What a sad and futile life I lead, spending all my time hanging on every word, every rumor about a little piece of plastic! ;)
