Root [wip][rom][cm7][zvc] lg-ls855 marquee

IMO u cant complain unless you are attempting to put forth any effort

If u want it done faster y dont you help us out. The benchmarks will always beat these roms here because they are running on 2.3.4 NOT 2.3.7 like CM7.

And its not being left out to dry. We've been working on it privately, not in the threads. Thats why there are no posts about it. Craptorman JUST recently posted the link.

No harm. That's great news!!! You guys are great, and in my spare time I have been researching kernel mods, and twl power controller hacks, I'm just without a computer. on my days off my son makes work on this hard, anyways I'm trying to build a oc kernel with a gpu oc, omap soc's are very overclockable. Not trying to complain I just wanted to stir the fire and see if we could get some news on what is going on.

It appears you and I are the only ones that have spent time with Cyanogenmod. Hi!
 
I've had cm on the triumph and optimus v and I really wouldn't care if it came to the marquee ics tho is definately something ill be anticipating something worth the trouble instead of a played out cm7

once cm7 comes out they're going to start complaining that cm9 isnt out yet...

Gee I wouldn't have known. Based on your previous comments I would have guessed you and other prevail owners were stuck with inferior roms and software like what you're using on the Marquee now as opposed to running on the only OS that matters. Should've known.:D

the prevail has cm9 and is overclocked to almost 1Ghz. That phone is ballin' on a budget

Look kid, I'm not here to complain. I just want to get the most out of my Marquee. Having flashed many different roms on many different devices I can tell you CyanogenMod is the OS that matters. It's the best, fastest, most reliable, virtually every aspect of Android is customizable, etc...That's right you had it on the prevail...

On a side note CM9 or ICS I could care less about. I would much rather have a stable CM7 rom any day.

Personally I don't care if its 2.3 or 4.0, I just want something that makes this phone what it could be, I have a kindle fire and I chose cm7 over cm9 just because its more stable and makes that e reader a real tablet

I contribute this green stuff called money....when I find something worth contributing to I contribute quite well.

Aside from theme work Monster tell me what ACTUAL work you are doing rom wise? Really I'm interested.

Guys just be patient. Building ROMs take time, beleive me I've tried and failed numerous times -__-. Be grateful that we atleast have some type of ROMs and Root while other phones have no dev support at all.

Monster you are right. Don't get mad.. I just wanted to stir the pot a little and see what's going on. Lets noboday argue we all have the same phone and we all want to make the mist out if it. We need to work together. Monster I could pm you some cm7, and some kernel reaseach I have done if you need it. But you are probably more advanced than me.

U sure could. More specifically related to the problems that we are having with MAINLY getting the RIL to work

Monster has actually created one of the first ROMs for our Marquee. It may be stock based, but its better than nothing. So don't question the people who are helping increase the performance of our phone.

Markybeats is quite good actually for a stock from its nice work, and for someone who does something like that it would mean an awesome cm7.

I'm not on here all the time. Regardless, k28 and myself just want the most from our Marquee. It doesn't mean we're complaining. We're curious as to the development of CM7. Considering the title of this thread it seems like a good place to ask questions and not be branded as a complainer.
If you're working on CM7 great! I wish you the best of luck. If successful I'm sure many will reward you for your efforts, myself included.
 
I would just like to comment and say that I agree Paradoxx! Not only did Monster create the first actual deodexed and optimized ROM's (stock based or otherwise), but he also contributed Blood's Marquee as well. I must say if it wasn't for Monster we could possibly still be stuck at the beginning... So I would like to say Thanks Monster for your hard work and time spent bringing us one step farther development wise! And I will be patiently waiting to see what comes next.
