It SHOULD work on any (prevail) kernel/rom that has swap enabled as long as /data is on sdext and has init.d support (it mounts stl13 to a directory it creates in /system)
Follow along with the video below to see how to install our site as a web app on your home screen.

This will use/create stl13(internal data partition) or a file on sdcard as swap
And give you options to create different sized swap files
Just install terminal emulator
And use these commands
Face/Palm. not really, you did get it though didn't ya.Ok....I'm dumb...lol. I spent 5 minutes typing those commands into terminal..it would return not found...So I manually created a file with root explorer, and tried the commands again...still returning not found. I kept re-reading the instructions, and couldnt figure out what I was doing wrong. Then I noticed the link to the zip at the very beginning of your post.
Face/Palm.
Lol... I needed to see:
Step 1 download and install zip povided in link above.
I must have re-read that post 30 times before I payed any attention to the bright blue letters of the link...sigh...I fail.

swp20
bootswapfile20
(should there be a new/different thread for this).

Bootswapfile seems to be causing system force closes. Am I missing something? Should I have bootswap set with swp?
I got this
$ export PATH=/data/local/bin:$PATH
$ su
# extswap96
mkdir: can't create directory '/system/data-ext/swap': File exists (file is present)
swapoff: can't stat '/sdcard/swap/swp*': No such file or directory(you chose data-ext mode... No file in sdcard to stat)
swapoff: /system/data-ext/swap/swp96mb: Invalid argument[ (swap was not on to be turned off)/QUOTE]
That's normal... It is trying to disable the files that don't exist yet... Do
Swp20
Free
And see what you get
(maybe i SHOULD make a new thread... Lol)
What is fc-ing? i had a couple other people test it and nobody reported any fc... What swappiness are you using right now?
Also bootswapfile does swpXX
Try
swapfile-off
extswap96

It's working
Literally Android.system force closed.
Set it for swapfile128
Bootswapfile60
When I rebooted fc pops up. Took a little bit before it settled down
I will try to replicate this tonight
Ok, is there something i am doing wrong or is it just a aosp thing... I can SEND all the Bluetooth files i want... But since the early cm7 builds i have not been able to RECEIVE any file via Bluetooth on ANY prevail i put an cm7 based/flavored ROM on. (idk about cm9 have not had time to try since riflez found a way to get it working)
I can PAIR to anything, and my Bluetooth headset works fine (including music controls etc) but when the file is sent, the sender gets a connection error...
Am i just missing something, or it that just the way things are?
