Root [ROM]TEAM GRP~4 Kornerz RLS3~09/01/12

When do you think you will be making this available? I'm heading overseas and was hoping to take the new version with me :D
The Sprint Connection Optimizer will come in very handy over there when I bounce around wifi spots.

What will be involved in upgrading from 1.2 to 2.0 ? Will I have to start all over again with setting up apps etc. ?

Its uploading now,20 minutes,sorry about the sprint connection optimizer,the one i got wouldnt work,error parsing package.Ill work on getting one that works for the next update.You can try wiping just cache and delvik,i didnt make any big system changes,but you never know.

Installed and it's running very well.

Not digging the font though, hard to read :-( Can that be changed easily ?

You could also change it from Rom Toolbox which is already installed in the Rom.


Loaded it up tonight. Running well. The only issue is when I get a phone call Volume+ and DSP manager FC on me. Not sure why. I tried to fix APK mismatches so we'll see what happens.

Is it possible to get your 2 4Kornerz wallpapers? After changing them I can't get them back. Do you have the one from 1.3 without writing? It looks really cool.

Dumb question, what's the Hotspot Mod and the Wifi Tethering mod?

What does that do that the stock ROM doesn't? I never have understood that ;-)

the sprint hotspot is just that, but with the hacked version, you can't use it with 4g. the wireless tethering app you can use 4g with it.

This ROM continues to impress me the more I modify it. Very stable and battery last so long. With minimum usage I've had the battery drained to an amazing 13% over a 8 hr span. The cosmetic updates are very good and I think it's a major leap from 1.2's version. Great work Diablo. Just a question though, can the bootanimation be changed and can it have sound?

any custom rom will have the ability to change the bootanimation. you just need to search for it on the system partition. it always seem to be in a different spot for each rom.

Its just like the stock,but it hotspots for free,without sprint.Tethering is the same.

The boot animation can be changed,its in system/customize/resource and it needs to be called spc_bootanimation.zip.Put your mp3 in /system/media with any .mp3 file you like as long as you rename it to "android_audio.mp3"

Just updated to version 1.3 from 1.0 this weekend. Noticed immediately that Go SMS force closed regardless of what I did. I deleted it. I also get "process com.Android.phone is not responding". After several reboots, I'm still trying to figure out what if anything is going wrong. Installed Chomp. The pop up notification caused force closing. Also, I was thinking about flashing to version 1.2. Can I do this without a full wipe?

First question is what did you wipe when you upgraded?
 
I usually Wipe Cache, Dalvik Cache, Data, and SD ext since i'm partitioned. Then I flash a superwipe file a couple of times before flashing the new rom.

To fix permissions flash the rom, reboot, let it settle for a few minutes, then reboot to recovery, and go to others (I think it's called that in Amon Ra) then select to fix uid mismatches or something like that.

Hope you get it going. It's a great rom!

I just flashed back to 1.2. No problems so far. I'm going to do the fixing permissions too. The ROM is definitely awesome. Ran 1.0 for a while. May try your advice with 1.3.
 
I haven't had a chance to update yet, downloaded just haven't flashed.

But, has anybody else had a problem with Wifi staying connected? I have noticed it loosing connection while at home.
