Root [Rom][5-17-12]Broken Out Connect 1.0 w/ Blitzkrieg Kernel

Thank you! I know about the landscape mode but didn't about the silent. If you can get me a screenshot of it that way I know the exact icon that would be great!

Thanks! This is awesome! Though I do find that my 4G is still connected while I'm connected to wifi. Anyone having this problem here? You did an awesome job on the rom though, THANK YOU AGAIN!!!

I got that alot on stock rom, too. I think its not really active, just enable 4G and disable it again and the icon will go away

The thing is it still doesn't go away. I miedit:ght do another flash and see if i get better results. thanks tho

Edit: nvm, fixed it ^^

Hey MT. The only issue I've noticed is when your phobe is downloading apps or updating, and when there are say; 6 or more, the icon in the notification bar indicating the app update is complete, they stack to the right and the time doesn't go away, so the icon is layered on top of the time. Showing both.

No a big issue but a small thing to fix, if interested ;)

Thanks as always!

DAMN! This is amazingly fast and responsive compared to the stock ROM. Thanks bro!

Do we need to calibrate the battery for this ROM or no?

Just tried it, pretty bad ass so far. The xperia home is pretty smooth and responsive, the speed is noticeably better as well. Scrolling is much better, although still not butter smooth *yet*. Also I have to make a small update to my lg connect optimizer app to recognize the new additional frequencies (I wrote em by hand because /sys/devices/cpu/cpu0/scaling_available_freq wasn't there before, but I got a way around that now), but still works. Hopefully the battery life will be decent.

calibrating the battery is a myth ;)

yup. just charge to 100%, then all stats reset themselves and it figures stuff out as it goes along :)

Hey guys, found a strange bug. If the phone is off, the charging screen looks like a grey corrupted jpeg.

if I had to guess it should be somewhere in /system/media but I'm not seeing anything that looks relevant in there.

One other thing, not that i expected this to work because it does this if you show the option on the stock rom too, but if you go to settings\ More... \ Tethering & portable hotspot it crashes.

Yeah, same on mine earlier too, it's like grey at the bottom and fades pixelly to black at the top.

Headphones are working fine for me, I actually had my home surround system plugged into it earlier and it handled fine

Reflashed seems to be fine thanks for the heads up

debating between trying this out now or waiting for the next update? if I do this now and an update is released do I have to wipe data again or since its the same rom with fixes there is no need to do that?

No need to wipe twice, as far as I understand it, flashing an update is just like updating the stock rom through the tool on your computer.

text to speech appears to be broken, I keep getting force closes and when I install other systems like svox, they dont show up in the select default list.
