Ok, I got a call back and the official release date of the Incredible it March 27th. Not sure why that was the day the picked but I have confirmed it with my 2 contacts and a manager with Verizon.

4 weeks sounds like a lot of training to me, wish i knew some verizon employees...

Shouldn't NKT be able to confirm or deny this.... and I agree 4 weeks of training wouldn't seem right.... its not like the phone is radically different from other phones .... I would think 2 weeks max would be all it would take

Release or launch? I was referenced tweeting Noah from phone dog..he said launch 2 weeks release a month or two. How reliable have these sources been in the past?

If the 27th is the release date then perhaps a few days is in fact all you need? I hope someone else confirms this information, as I would hate to get my hopes up only to have them crushed.

Been reading the first thread since early double-digit page numbers. I think I've passed the "lurk moar" threshold, so this one flushed me out.

I think we all want to know: March 27th release date, or official announcement date? Can I hold my very own Incredible in my hand that day, or can I just finally find a Verizon employee who knows what I'm talking about on that date?

release as in for sale. He said that they will have their inventory by next Tues. I will be there Tues afternoon with money in hand.
