Oh, i feel like the heavens opened and the clouds fell on my head... Today is my Birthday and then we get more awesome news about the incredible....It is done! 20 is my lucky number!

I'm very interested in this phone. Right now I have a Touch Pro 2 and the only thing stopping me from getting the Incredible is Slingbox. I haven't been able to find many updates on when/if sling is going to make an application for Android. I read something about a release in the summer but that hasn't been confirmed. Do you guys think it's worth the wait to ditch Windows Mobile for Android and just wait patiently for sling?

THIS Take a look at this video the guys from AndroidAndMe posted today that confirms Slingplayer support for Android this summer. I believe it was just taken from the event yesterday.

im still waiting to hear a reply from my source about the release. hopefully it will be today and hopefully he will say it will be around the 27th to confirm what others have said

Twitter is now abuzz with HTC Incredible chatter about 3/27. We're trouble makers!

omg i gotta have this!!!!

Yes, but the Storm 1 was a mostly new platform for BB and had many new moving parts that was new ground for BB. The Incredible is already much further along in development due to its htc predecessors.

Basically htc just added some more lipstick on the pig (red at that) and voila' INCREDIBLE!

My Storm 1 required me to yank off the battery cover and tweak the torx screws to get the touch screen to 'click' nicely.

yeah that was a fundamental design flaw, there is only one membrane switch on it located in the center underneath the screen. They knew about the issue prior to release.

And to stay on topic (kinda) I want this phone (incredible) so bad I just may vomit. fruit loops. because that is all I have eaten today. That is all

I updated the spec thread with the release date even though i'm not yet 100% convinced. Not doubting the person or the validity at all, just waiting to hear the same form a few more sources...but nonetheless, it's posted. I'm sure this will end up on some of the "bigger" sites...
