Root [ROM][PORT][ALPHA] MIUIv4 ICS Port | Weekly Update: 2.6.1 | Version: 0.9.0

Only other thing I can think of: Are you flashing the correct Gapps? MIUI if I'm not mistaken requires a different set of GApps.

On an unrelated note: Are the forums acting weird for anyone else today? Slow loading/etc?

I am flashing the Gapps that is in the second post of this thread. Is that the right one? Also, thanks for all the help.

And yes, the forums have been pretty slow today.
 
Those are the right ones...Try redownloading them and re-flashing? Maybe the download got corrupted?
 
I'm actually about to flash this and tell you the exact order I do it in :P Stay tuned!

Edit: So my order was this:

Wipe Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Cache
Wipe Dalvik

Install MIUI
Install GApps
Install WiFi Fix
Reboot!

Eat Sandwich! (Or in my case, have a smoke)

Come back, should be done booting.

Edit 2; Hey, what recovery are you using? CWM? TWRP?

Still getting the authentication error. =/

Using CWM v5.0.2.6
 
Do any other ROMS give you this issue? Try MIUI RePortaled maybe? See if they work? Maybe there's an issue with your phones hardware? Because you're doing all the flashing right.

No other ROMs do it. And it shouldn't be the hardware; this is my 2nd Triumph, and I had the same problem on the first.
 
Other ROMs give you this issue? Hmm....What ROM were you just on? Was it working properly?

Edit: Just thought of something. Skip the account setup. Toggle airplane mode on and off a few times, reboot. Sometimes that helps.

Other ROMs didn't give me this problem. I was just on g60's CM7, it was working fine.

Tried toggling it and rebooting a few times, still nothing.
 
Ah okay, I misunderstood. I'm not sure. The only thing I can say is try another MIUI ROM? Not sure why this one isn't working right for you. I can't think of anything else :(

MIUI Reportaled works fine. Hope someone else has some input on this. Thanks for your help though, I appreciate it.

I like the rom, but wifi doesn't work for me and unfortunately I use it all the time at home. Wifi will connect but with no internet at all.

When doing the flashing, are you doing it all at once? That's how it worked for me.

Wipe all system/cache/dalvik

Flash ROM
Flash GApps
Flash Wifi

Reboot. Reboot again.

That's how it worked for me, anyway.

On ICS Rom's you don't wipe system you will bootloop..... the Rom formats the system for you so it isn't nescessary
 
I tried flashing it in the order you posted but still no luck :( and now its even worse, because now when I try and turn wifi on, the on/off switch changes to on and says its turning on wifi but then it quickly goes back to off but still says its turning on wifi and never does :confused:

Hello everybody! Just though I'd pop in and say hi since I've been watching this thread for a long time now. I'm just waiting for camera to work and I'm making this my daily.

Guys working on this ROM, you're awesome and doing a great job, I didn't even expect this to happen for my Triumph. :)
