I am doing what I can to get it as fast as I can.

So, not questioning your effort or giving you a hard time, you've actually made my day pretty exciting. But, if you're contact is 12 hours ahead of us they aren't in the U.S. how do they have this information that's so important to us? I thought different countries (especially over seas) often have different phones than U.S. companies.

HTC is a Taiwanese Manufacturer....maybe his contact is there.

Hello everyone. long time follower, first time poster.
Verizon is now offering Android training (classes) at my near by store here in Charlotte, NC. Why now after the Droid has been out for so long? May be it is a sign regarding the release of all the new Android phones coming out including the Incredible.:)

Training is a longterm thing. They will do it no matter how old the device is. People just love it when they can take classes on technology. I see no direct relation to it foreshadowing a new Android release. There will always be classes regardless.

Verizon has just started training courses to help get people introduced to Android.

I'd say that was the key part he was referring to in his post, Ruben.

I'd say between the pending release of the Incredible and all of it's features plus the Android 2.1 update for the Moto Droid and Droid Eris they need to get all of their sales people up to speed.

Just offering my two-cents.

Training programs are forever lasting even when the phone isn't new. You can still get training on the WM Imagio (sp). I'm sure they'll training for a while after it is not the flagship device.

EDIT: previously posted, sorry. Just psyched if it really DOES come out in 2 weeks!! :)

On another note, so much for the iPhone coming to any other carrier! From a linked article:

"It looks like the major U.S. networks besides AT&T have largely given up on the Apple iPhone and are aggressively moving ahead on the deployment of new Android headsets. The next iPhone, set to air this summer, could see a substantial challenge from the Nexus One on Sprint, AT&T, and T-Mobile; and the HTC Incredible on Verizon."

Oh, I know what you're saying. I think he was asking why after all this time is Verizon just now offering classes on the Android OS.
