On Topic: How is the case / screen protector selection on launch date for HTC phones? When I got my iPod classic I put a clear screen protector on the screen, wheel and back plate and it works great. Still looks perfect after over a 16 months of use. I would kill myself if I injured my Incredible waiting for a good case.

Rachel: Good morning! Sometimes it can take a few months before we release cases for a phone. We do have a notification list that you can sign up for, depending on if we have the phone model available on our website.

For Blackberries, its been about 2 weeks, at most. All cases that are form fit, have these lead times. It's just fact due to (engineering/tooling/dies/etc).

On topic: Does anyone think the Incredible may get advertised on the very first commercial after tip-off of the first NCAA game today in ~10 min?(12:20pm EST) :D

No I do not have that problem I can go overnight and it will not time out but when I logged on I clicked remember me and clicked remember when firefox popped up if I wanted to remember password
 
A quick question here. Does anyone know how the e-mail works on the Android OS? I have a BB Storm 2 and I get my e-mail super quick because of the push system. I have read that the Androids have some issues with Yahoo mail. I have a free account and I also have a paid account. I have a Gmail account also but rarely use it. My paid Yahoo account is for my work and is the most important for me to recieve. I want the Incredible badly but I hope the e-mail system is adequete.

My wife has the Droid and I set up her Yahoo account. She reads her mail on there all the time. Don't think she has had any problems.
 
With Sense UI..does the wallpaper slide when you swipe across screens like on the moto droid or do just icons move side to side with the wallpaper staying put. Thanks. BTW a co-worker just got a nexus one and it was the first time I ever held/saw one before... hopefully in the next two weeks i'll have my first droid something...but after seeing the nexus one ..i think i'm in love :eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:
 
AT&T was quick with there first commerical at the begining of tourny ! Hopefully Verizon has something " INCREDIBLE" up there sleeves with theres !!

So... since I'm on a diet :mad: and had some time at lunch today... I popped on over to our local Verizon Wireless dealer for a little fun... :rolleyes:

Of course I asked him about any new phones coming out and then specifically the incredible..

Respones:
We no of no new phones coming out. We usually know 30 days ahead of time.

Me:
30 days!! :eek: Wow! Then U Must know about the incredible due for release in 9 days!! Is THAT your inventory? (As fedex walked in) :p

Response:
No.. there are NO new phones coming out especially in 9 days.. and I've heard of the incredible...but thats about it.

Me:
Do you HAVE internet access??? :eek: As I coughed up my lunch... Is this some kind of huge military secret or something? Corporate is right down that street less than a mile from here and you know nothing?.. :rolleyes:

I hope they hurry! I text so much now that I'm single the buttons are coming un glued from my moto razr v3. To think this razr has survived being thrown/busted to pieces against a solid wooden door 2-3 times by the ex and its demise has came down to over texting.

one of the comments on that pic states that the automatic brightness control is toggled on the att one and not on the other. seems like if that is really the case it may be setting a higher brightness on the att one regardless of the setting. myself, I don't know what the icons on the phone mean so I can't verify if that is really the case or not.
 
For those with experience with Seido, what kind of bump in battery capacity can we expect for the Incredible? The Incredible will ship with a 1300mAh battery which I'm sure most will find inadequate.
