Great work pbot I wonder if this will work for me I'm on the unlimited plan or does not make a difference since I'm on the unlimited?
 
Yeah it will still have the same effect as on any other plan :) it is not about to type of data. this mod just makes the data speed more consistently higher :)
 
I've definitely noticed a difference :D just hope enough peeps try this so I can see if everyone is getting the same results :)

I can't quite tell yet. But I don't do much consistent looking around on the web. Might take 30 minutes and just hop from site to site and see how we are looking.
 
Yeah it's not a huge difference when browsing the web but there def is one. I noticed right away because before the mod when I used the phandroid app it would take like 5 secs to load every page on 4g (it wasn't like that a couple months ago :/) but with the mod it's down to 2 secs at the very most. But that's by far the most noticeable thing on my phone. The browser is faster but it's not lightening fast or anything :)
 
Will try now so this method might work better than the other they have that talks about how to upgrade data speeds? Iet me try it :D
 
You mentioned the #2 ROM a few times. I'm running BrokenOut. Does the ROM make a difference, or just that the phone needs to be ZVD?

its using #2's services.jar files.
if you flashed this over brokenout rom than it replaced any mods mt had put into his.
ld used some of mts mod so im guessing it would be best to use #2's anyways.

OK. I'll stay with B.O. I'm having pretty good speeds, but I do notice a lag after extended use. Maybe PB can make one for any ROM?:D

im using rom #2 1.8 with beast candy after i flashed i couldnt turn on my 4g even if i did airplane mode or rebooted the phone

lol i noticed the same lagging thats why i went back to #2.
no lag now. :)

and im sure he would. just ask.;)
