It depends on which PZ P-51 you have... if it's the newer one with a brushless motor and 2.4GHz radio, I'm sure I can scrounge up something to help you. If it's the older version with the brushed motor/gearbox and a 72MHz radio, then yes, everything is soldered into one board which makes repairs more difficult. The offer still stands, of course, so if you want or need anything I'll see what I can find. Always happy to help a fellow modeler.
I was able to sell the Pawnee to the gentleman on Thursday afternoon. A bit of a problem; he brought a friend of his who's more experienced with airplanes. His friend said there was something wrong with the prop (which I never noticed) so I offered to knock $100 off the price. His friend tried to talk me down another $50 but I held fast. As they were leaving, my guilt took over and I offered to PayPal him another $50.
Next day (Friday/yesterday), before I had a chance to pay him, I got a call from the guy who makes the props who said he received a phone call from the buyer, wanting to know "what he was going to do to make it right". Now that bothered me a little bit because I already gave him $100 off the plane and if he gets a free prop from the local guy, that means he now has two props and got $100 off the plane. I emailed the buyer and said, let's see what the prop guy says before any more money exchanges hands and he agreed. The prop guy said he'd call me with the verdict because now I'm curious to see if his friend was right, or just trying to chew me down a little on the price. I hope I don't regret this.
Finally, I wanted to let everryone know that I've got a Razr Maxx on the way to me from Verizon. I had the one-way audio issue again the other day and I called Verizon to ask when the heck this was gonna be fixed. They said they still show it as an open issue and he checked Samsung, who doesn't even list it as an issue anymore. And since 4.0.4 didn't make a difference in the radios for me (I still see a lot of grey 3G and have to either toggle Airplane Mode or reboot to get it back), enough was enough. He said I can try the Maxx and if I don't like it I can just send it back, no problem.
So I hope you guys will still let me hang out here, even if I'm no longer a Nexus owner. I'll also be looking for some root help on both the Maxx and the Nexus because I want to buy Titanium Backup and move my apps. I've got a lot of time invested in Drag Racing and I want to move my progress.
