Root Cyanogenmod wipes all data after reboot!

Finally made the step to Cyanogenmod 7 (BACKside-IHO-VM670-05022012) on my Optimus V and everything looks great. Very excited! However, every time I reboot/power off the device, all data, cache, settings gets wiped clear. As soon the phone starts to boot I get the "Factory reset..Clear data.." etc.

Any ideas, as this does not seem very frustrating at this point?!!

Thanks!

Could be a bad flash. Try a complete reflash.

Download this and place it on your SD card: obijohns update wiper
Redownload backside and make sure the md5checksum matches.

Wipe - Cache partition
Wipe - Dalvik
Wipe - data/factory reset
Format - boot, system, data, cache
flash - obijohns update wiper
flash - backside
flash - gaps
reboot

Thanks!
Did exactly that, re-downloaded all files, obijohns wiper etc. and the first thing it does after reboot is to send me in recovery again..At this point I am stuck in recovery (Green 5.0.2.8) and the only way to get out if it is to change it. I can put Xionia which will make Backside to load and everything will repeat again..

Any help is much appreciated!

You're stuck in a recovery boot loop... follow this<-----Click on "this"

I did that, but I can't seem to enter into recovery when flashing Xionia. As soon as I reboot, I see the message about factory data reset etc and the phone proceeds booting to Backside. Then again, everything works until reset/reboot and everything is wiped clear again.

Is there another way to fix the boot loop?

Maybe you could run down the steps you took to get Xionia installed. I'll see if there is something you might have left out, or didn't quite get right. The guide works but has never been tried with the Green recovery yet that I know of. Hmmm.
