Gee, please don't ban me for this, but doesn't the Incredible look like the iPhone, in that picture?
It sorta does. But it has all that goodness of HTC and openness of Android. Two things the iCrap will never have.

indeed it does look more pro. the iPhone is a multi-media device that's not necessarily geared to business people, and the design is also several years old. the incredible is state of the art. it takes it to a new level, as it should. hopefully it won't be seen as a patent violation.
im a android but thats ok

incredible looks more polished and expensive. iphone starting to show its age when sitting next to the incredible.

As I wait patiently (OK like a meth head needing a fix) for the Incredible I wonder how sturdy this phone will be.
My current phone is an HTC 6800 and it is trashed but most of the damage was caused by me not from poor quality. Now that phone has taken an ass kicking but just keeps on ticking and I wonder if these new phones are just as good? Will the Incredible be as durable even though it's probably going to be half as thick and have a larger surface area? Or do the older phones last better because of smaller sizes and thicker profiles?
I'll shut up and listen now.

i have the htc touch... xv6900. same thing. very durable i'm believing the incredible will be of the same high quality standards.

Okay, seriously?...I will agree to all the legitimate hype surrounding the Incredible...but do you really think it looks that much better? IT"S BASICALLY A CLONE PEOPLE!!!
It's no Desire...that's for sure! 
I think the specs, functionality and carrier are the most important things...but if the Incredible looks like the photo...and it probably will...it's just clonish! Here's my point illustrated....if you saw that phone...with the Apple logo on it...you'd probably think it was the new iPhone 4G! Me thinks me queezy now!

Love It! Now someone just needs to put the "Desire" Optical TrackPad on there and we should be pretty close probably...
I was under the impressions that it didn't have the same trackpad as the Desire. Maybe I'm wrong though...

It is at least a clickable optical trackpad which this image doesn't show. Whether or not it is the same as the Desire's, I don't know.

Could be ... But I know it has changed from that original rendering based on the latest pictures from NKT. I'm guessing it's similar to the Desire but maybe darker.
we all remember that this is a rendering of the phone and not what the actual Incredible will look like correct?Here is pics of the three phones. Picture size will be different so keep that in mind when looking at the screens. Like nash said a better looking phone than the Droid with basically the same size screen as the Droid.

Did NKT or anyone mention if the screen is seamless? Or will we have dirt in our cracks (heh) like before we all returned the droid?
Pretty much CTIA. I can't imagine any official Verizon type meetings over the weekend. Maybe something akin to a NDA lifting for games will happen today or tomorrow. Course we have to hope CTIA doesn't turn into the Verizon teleconference that supposedly happened on MaxI-pad day.

my parents went to the verizon store yesterday, cause we are switching to them and our contract is up. so they are getting new phones today and leaving me in the dust , because i want to wait for the incredible. so i might not have a phone for a while.
but on topic, they talked to the guy and he said he had a meeting with an HTC rep earlier that day (friday), and that he knows its comming out before summer, but he doesnt think it will be in the next few weeks (bye bye march 27th :[ ) but im only taking his answer with a grain of salt, because i remember how clueless you guys said some people are, and i never met the guy. so today i will go "interrogate" him and try and get any info i can, which seems is close to none.
going with what someone said earlier, i too hope this phone is as tough as my current HTC Dash. lets see, i've accidentallly....
1) literally thrown it on the ground
2) dropped it from the top of bleachers onto a hardwood floor
3) dropped it in a puddle of water where it completly submerged
among other things, and it works the same as the day i bought it which isnt very well with old windows mobile

oh, and one thing i forgot to say, has anyone looked at the little picture in the adress bar of google's home page?
It probably has more to do with the Nexus One and the Apple vs HTC lawsuit, but we can only speculate its google acknowleging how Incredible the products that HTC makes are.
