Root Selling my evo to sprint

Evo2007

Newbie
Well its time to turn in the 4g evo for something that can go at 4g lte speeds now that it will never happen on the evo 4g. What do I need to do to get the evo back to factory settings. I think asurion would not be too happy when they see it with custom roms and Mik on it. I was told a factory reset doesn't do the job. May you let me know what i can do to get it ready for sprint buy back? Btw I am leaning towards the galaxy s3.

Can a guide/mod move this please?:D

There are different ways to return back to stock, unrooted factory settings but you will need to give more information because their are different instructions for different hboots. How did you root? What's your hboot? Thanks, hope you enjoy the SIII:D

How much do they even give for a trade in? I am going to hang onto my Evo in case something happens to the GNex. Unless they were going to give me over $100 I wouldn't even consider it. Even if they did, I'm still not sure I would trade it.

Plan on keeping mine to think its always good to have a great backup phone and the EVO has been an awesome forrunner so I know as a backup it will be just as awesome. I will probably have mine set up as a music player or a little pad who knows. I still have plenty of time.

Yeah $60 won't be anywhere near enough to get me to trade it in. The wife will be finally upgrading to a smartphone this time around and it is a hell of a device to have on the back burner. Plus I fully plan on playing with it and flashing roms even after it's deactivated.

I just upgraded yesterday to gnex and sprint offered $65 for my evo. turned it down, want to have a back up phone that is still a good phone. Had a Samsung transform that is a year old and they offered $5 for it! Crazy how the evo has held its value.

Demand hath it's effect on the price!! :)

At least there's someone else on here on board with the Gnex!
