Still on sale by Google in the Play Market:

(as far as I can tell), so I'm guessing you'll still be able to get one.
I'm sure the lawyers will hash all of this out. No worries.
edit: by the way, I'm going to move this to the main GNex forum instead of the root area.
Can anyone give it in a nutshell why Apple won this injunction? Thank you.
Apple and its lawyers convinced Judge Koh that the Galaxy Nexus likely infringes all four of the patents asserted in the preliminary injunction motion, and that all four of them are likely valid.
Apple's motion passed that test with respect to the "Siri patent", a patent on unified search. It must be a huge disappointment for Google to lose this lawsuit over a search patent. With respect to the other three patents at issue in this context -- slide-to-unlock, data tapping and autocorrect --, Judge Koh was not convinced that those features drive consumer demand and that Samsung's likely infringement causes irreparable harm. But Apple can still win an injunction when this case goes to trial, and even if it couldn't prove an entitlement to injunctive relief over those patents at that stage, Samsung would be liable for significant damages.
And given the countless billions of cash Apple have socked away I wouldn't imagine it would be hard for them to come up it.
Bit like asking us to come up with $20 really...
I disliked Apple before, now I'm really beginning to hate them. I had hoped Tim Cook would back off from this ridiculous jihad Steve Jobs started up against Google but it seems like more of the same rhetoric and bull from 'gods own phone company'. Sigh.... :banghead:
Besides, doesn't Siri use WolframAlpha behind the scenes?
That is not a very good analogy. Especially since Samsung makes many of the components for apple.I agree completely!
On that same note, if Apple is so "holier than thou", why are they so worried about some little company from Korea?
Wouldnt that be like Bentley spending all their time trying to sue Hyundai?
From FOSS Patents: Apple wins U.S. preliminary injunction against the Samsung/Google Galaxy Nexus over Siri patent:

So I'm guessing its all about the patents related to "Siri" (voice search, etc.).
Why don't they sue HTC or other Smartphone Manufacturers??
Apple was the early bird that caught the worm but now it seems people are realizing they have other choices and switching over to android.
Do you guys think that after Google wins this stupid lawsuit they'll drop the price on the Nexus a little more because we had to wait a little longer to receive ours? That'd be amazing considering that I am trying to currently get one!
