they may have added a jack but I'm don't think that is easily done. either the leaks didn't see it or it doesn't exist. I think 720p recording may be possible. HTC uses alot of the same parts and our camera is very similar to the EVO.

i wish. doesn't anybody else think that hdmi is a HUUUUGE plus? throw a bunch of movies on a microSD card, show up at a friends house.. easy.

Yeah, exactly. My friends and I are always using HDMI to hook-up our laptops to our TVs, it'd be awesome if I could do that with a phone.

I'm mostly disappointed that we're getting a smaller screen. Screw amoled, the screen on my TP2 is good enough (seriously, have you people seen newer HTC screens? they look amazing without being amoled), and I wish it was larger. Oh well.

Am I the only one that thinks the Evo was probably in the other box too.. i feel like they'd have more than one out there.. plus the fact that this meeting with htc is right after the Evo announcement is really putting a damper on my day.. still attempting to keep hope though.

i would guess that if both boxes had the EVO in them, then they would both be uncovered. Although this doesnt seem to be the case as one box is still covered

I do agree with the other posters, i like the 3.7 vs the 4.3 and the optical track pad vs an all touch phone. I do hope the Incredible has 720p recording and i do like the kickstand.

Incredible still wins in my book especially cuz of the AMOLED and Verizon.

On their front page, there is a spot for the evo. It's circled in red where it says world first 3g/4g.

And when I refreshed the page, poof it was gone. Anybody else see it?

Same here...i still have enough assurances to keep hope alive. I'm being told (and who knows how much of this is evolving as we speak) that VZW was keeping its options open with going today based on what the reaction was going to be to the SS. Not sure if that means tomorrow, but i can't imagine it means they would cancel altogether, but rather go tomorrow instead.

It was a promo for an award the Hero won a while back. The logo for the award was a red squiggly circle. They replaced it with the EVO promo, but sometimes your browser caches the old image. I had the EVO text over both the phone and the award logo.
