I am not doubting any of you that work for Verizon, or have sources within Verizon, but I'm finally done taking into account all these reports about people having knowledge about whether or not it'll show tomorrow. You all can have your opinion, but I'm starting to think store managers have no idea about whether or not it'll show, and have no idea about the release date. All that we can all really do is wait and see. If it's not shown tomorrow, there's still a chance it'll be shown Wednesday, so don't get yourself too heated up. Now if it doesn't show at CTIA, I'll be pretty disappointed like all of you here. We've been patiently waiting for a LONG time.
But also, like other posters have said in the past, Verizon doesn't owe us anything. We're not even supposed to know about the phone, and 99% of their customers out there have no idea about it. They have their strategy, and it'll be a pleasant surprise for most of the people out there waiting. They're not focusing on the small percentage of us that have seen leaks, but their consumer base as a whole, and they'll release the information as they feel it will be most beneficial to them. Imagine the amount of money Verizon would miss out on for Droids and Eris' if they announce a much better soon coming out soon. They want to get the most they can out of their current promotions, and lets be realistic, how many customers do you expect Verizon to actually lose by not announcing the Incredible at CTIA, as long as it still releases at least on par, or even before their competiting carriers phones?
I trust the word of NKT and Stericson that the phone will be releasing soon, and if it's April, that's not too long of a wait, and once the phone is officially announced, we'll all forget about CTIA and all the drama of CTIA. I'm just glad Verizon is finally upping their game. Their starting to open up their playbook a little bit, now offering Palm phones, allowed the Androids to really get kickstarted, etc. I think you all aren't giving them enough credit.
