From this we can determine that it does indeed have the 8GB of moviNAND, 512MB of ROM, 1GB of RAM, and the SnapDragon does in fact cap out at 768MHz in this phone. There may or may not be an SD card in it. :p

and HTC's device is still "embargoed device". that could either mean it's a still unannounced device (Incredible) or it's the evo and they haven't updated the list.

also,
"E-Tech Awards winners will be announced at a ceremony hosted by Robert Mesirow, vice president and show director for CTIA and Tim Bajarin, president of Creative Strategies, on Wednesday, March 24 at 2:00 p.m. on the Exhibits Innovation Stage located in the Emerging Technology Zone on the International CTIA WIRELESS exhibit floor, North Hall."

Random note: I remember looking at the pictures form the HTCPedia meeting with HTC, and HTC brought the Eris with them (along with the Evo, Desire, Legend and others). Just the fact they that even brought the Eris makes me think an announcement is unlikely. I don't want to be a downer, because you have no idea how much I want this phone, but just saying....

Could the device be embargoed because of the fact it hasn't passed the FCC or is a pre-production model?
 
ya i tried the resource cetner on testman yesterday and just got the spinning sync arrow logo in the center of the screen forever......it never did go away.
