i'm just saying....
the world has not ended (not for another 2 years at least).

stay positive.

I think it has been established that big announcements are hardly ever made on the last day, and some people may have already left.

Unless you're a Sprint customer.....then it was awesome.

Before my recent misadventure into AT&T-land, I was a Sprint user for many years, and from my direct experience...

Sprint. Network. Coverage. Sucks.

Anecdotal comments from friends who are still on the network indicate they are "putting up with its shortcomings" until they're out of contract.

Sprint has been hemorrhaging customers for over two years and justifiably so. (See my comment above.) Of course, they had to make a big splash to try to stem the tide of defections. They are desperate, and the "EVO 4G" is virtually all they have. Is it any wonder why they do not, will not, cannot discuss their current 3G[!] coverage? No.

Also, how much is Sprint going to charge for 4G coverage ...if you can get it? When are they releasing the phone? By then, will your network of choice have a phone with comparable features?

I am done with this crying about "their phone is bigger, faster, shinier" than ours. So what?! First, it's an F-ing phone, not a pacemaker. None of these things will change your life.

My first consideration when looking for a replacement for my !ph0ne 3G was the network and THEN the phone. Clearly, Verizon has the best network. I am now just waiting for a phone worthy of my trouble to break my existing contract, and another couple of weeks will not be a big deal to me.

Well, it's better than being a negative nancy. Especially since it looks like Verizon's stores are officially launching the Devour tomorrow and the possibility of the Nexus One (earlier rumor from today), then maybe tomorrow will just be a quiet launch of three phones.

Then again, I'm not holding my breath. Just don't want to rain on everybody else's parade.

why were there no pictures of anybody's booths?i havnt seen one picture of any body's booth. just the one small photo of what was the EVO at HTC. why not a picture of the entire booth.

There is a difference between being negative and realistic. At this point, thinking an announcement is imminent is probably a little bit insane.

This has been asked many times already but no one seems to know the answer. I've tried searching for some photo's but came up with nothing. I'm sure they are out there, but I haven't seen any.

I wish I had the patience of those of you who have been waiting since October, but I don't think I'm going to be holding out for May if it comes to that. I've only been on the Incredible / N1 waiting team since mid January. I'd rather have the Incredible than anything else, but if the N1 comes out next week and the Incredible doesn't, I'm jumping on it. If neither come out in a week or two, then I'm going to be getting a Droid. Maybe off eBay or CL instead.

If you spend all your time waiting for "the next best thing" then you'll never buy anything. If that's your thing, then more power to you, but having been a computer hardware enthusiast for many years now, its always best to satisfy the upgrade itch when you can if there isn't a concrete date on a release.

Well, I think the majority of us our insane for spending so much time on this board. I doubt any of us would deny that. :p

The flickr account has another pic taken with the HTC ADR6300. Look at top left corner of pic. The back to the Incredible.

I tweeted VZWoffers also.........just said like "Release the HTC Incredible already......damn you guys are slow, getting crushed by the competition in terms of phones"

Didn't wanna be too harsh on them, maybe they would ban me or somethin hahaha.

Agreed. I think it's completely feasible that Big Red wanted to wait until day three to avoid being upstaged by EVO on day one and by the awards ceremony on day two.

P.S. Not to mention that if they had shown off the Incredible before the round-table today no one would have paid any attention to what they had to say because they would all be trying to get their hands on that Incredible phone;) Here's hoping for a third-day announcement...

Might be funny but lets try to be politically correct, I think the jokers R just IMPOTENT thinking they are more importent then they are. of course they've certainly had our attention for some time.

I AM important.. More important than that dude who discovered America..

I'l be in history books one day.. You'll see.

First time posting on here...I've been following this for the last couple of days. Quite addicitive.

It's very disappointing that the Incredible hasnt been announced yet. I was set on getting a Nexus One but once I saw a video of the Sense UI...amazing...now I want the Incredible.

Does anyone remember reading a slew of articles last week quoting some economic journal in China saying that HTC had begun shipping the N1 to verizon stores? We all know that the N1 is being sold on Google only. Is it possible that HTC is actually shipping the Incredible to verizon stores? Maybe thats what people like montana are seeing?

If you know or understand anything about industry trade shows it's "common knowledge" that no BIG news is announced on the last day of a show. It's typically viewed as the "Get out of Dodge" day for those on the customer and media side of the business and those on the mfg. side are simply counting down the hours until their boxes and crates arrive so they can begin packing up and getting out of town either that night or the following morning.

I'd worry less about raining on the parade of those still holding out false hope of some BIG announcement being made tomorrow and worry more about maintaining some semblance of pragmatism in light of the situation, which I'm astonished so few seem to have here.

Has anyone checked Testman for the 2,000th time to see if there's any "Incredible" news to be found? Get a life, people and wake yourselves out of your stupor over this phone already!!

Verizon commercial on TV just said the BOGO for smartphones ends March 31st.

Just in time for the NCAA Championship ;) Not saying that that will be the unveiling. but who knows, captures A WHOLE lot more people that those following CTIA.

I few notes, if you find yourself near a TV, CNBC does have partial coverage throughout the day of CTIA and has a reporter inside interviewing some of the big wigs there.

Ive been following the thread for quite some time and really have enjoyed watching the cough cough tensions rise. its only a matter of time and we should all be optimistic, even though my storm is about dunfer, I will continue to be. Thanks to all for the good posts and lets go into day three as optimistic as possible. while some say day three is a bust for big news, why not save the best for last?!?!

Cool mashup btw, I hate pop but like to see people's own styles and interpretations of music

I feel like it's christmas, and we're getting to watch everyone else open presents. One by one they're being handed out. I'm waiting to hear my name, but the pile is dwindling, and all I got so far was a stupid pair of socks.
On the bright side it beats having a lump of coal in your stocking. ;):)

if its anything like verizon runs with ALL of the rest of their phones, they very well may run them through the stores. Lets remember this is one of the main reasons VZW didnt get the iphone in the first place, since they wanted their own techs to service it. Big Red strives to keep everything "in house"
