Husband was on the computer, so I did it from the phone last night and used the one first posted from Megaupload. I've got the dolphin browser with pop up pages turned off. It worked just fine for me, just had to use Astro to move the file from the downloads file to the root file.
Loving it do far, slowly reinstalling apps during the day and haven't had any problems so far.
I don't remember an android dude with an exclamation.so i rebooted and now i got an android dude with an exclamation....is this norm.... acts froze
ok, still hboot is hi-lighted and i got send to fast boot or vol up for recovery.Yeah, I'd say 5 minutes tops, if it's longer than that something's wrong.
i d/l'd it from MU on my phone this morning, start the hboot read, walked outside (with phone in pocket), smoked a cigarette(with phone in pocket)...
Just checked with a friend who used another link, his phone is bricked as well. Mine still is too. Phone will not start up with or with out SD card. Trying to reinstall the leak does not work. Factory reset does not work.
Two bricks.![]()
ok CM, tyif you followed the instructions to the T. you held vol down and power to get to hboot, etc etc. and you still have problems it has to be a bad file. download from elsewhere and replace what is on your phone and try again
if you have a exclamation and android dude you probably help vol up and power, pull the battery and try again holding volume down (i did that this morning lol)

ty eric for your timeMust be a bad file, that's all I can think of.
ty eric for your time
oh btw, i dont know if its too late but, i had no issues downloading my apps again from marketplace, just hit menu and downloads, however, one minor thing, do not download the google maps app until your finished downloading all the others, once you update/download google maps, it will for some reason wipe out your history. so do it last.
