Happy Birthday Chief! 50 is not old, we are just well seasoned! Thanks for breaking in the number for those of us right behind you! Celebrate the beginning of the second half of your century for all its worth and remember, your really just the same guy you were at 18 with 32 years of experience!
 
Today's hike was great,the Mountain to Sea Trail is so diverse. Most of the morning was spent in a fog, but is was a perfect 68. On our way back, we ran into an obstacle, a 6 foot rattler coiled and hissing on the trail. Nothing was able to deter him, so billy goats we became, bushwacking a new trail on the side of the ridge. Did I mention I really am not fond of Rattle Snakes?

I haven't stopped all day long... just settled into the forum for a breather. Yes I found the kernels. I'll have a flashfest tomorrow when I have a charge on the phone.
 
Woot! Was at our local Chik-Fil-A for a kiss for equality and got interviewed by one of the local stations!

All credit to the management there - they did say we could even go inside and kiss so kudos to them as well.
 
Why do I keep hearing about this chicken joint? What did I miss? I don't watch the news (or tv much for that matter)
 
The owner, Dan Cathy made a statement that he supports 'the Biblical definition' of marriage as between 1 man and 1 woman. He then went on to say that the company has donated money to causes that may have used it to fight Gay marriage.

Supporters turned out in droves Wednesday to support his position in an event organized by Mike Huckabee which apparently made a lot of money for the company.

Today it was our turn where we turned out for a peaceful demonstration (on the sidewalk) of our opposing view.

I fully support the right of free speech that Dan Cathy used and I myself would never do anything that would cause his business any harm.

Equally we used our rights of assembly to show our opposing view that we prefer to have equal rights for all citizens.

It was a peaceful good natured time with no interactions with anyone working or eating at the establishment.

Did see myself on TV though in a couple of shots!

I started my semi annual detox yesterday - All raw veggies all meals for 5 days to jump start my metabolism and clean me out. It works! but it sucks too - It makes you really weak the first few days. Still waiting on my Nexus 7 to come in to keep me company but this new chromebox I got is pretty slick!

I've done it before for 8 days, never felt better. I would like to do it longer but it gets a little expensive.

Ugh. This is why I stopped watching TV. I would say more, but this is a family forum and what I would say would likely cause a stir.

Lets carry on with the android business :)
