Root help me please before i break this thing

so i recently obtained a evo 4g... i guess it was flashed to metro but there is no mms or web he said it was fixable...
well i found out the usb does work properly come up as a error in windows i installed all new drives and redid my windows

i got to the boot menu and this is what is says

locked (00w)
Supersonic EVT3 Ship S-ON
Hboot-2.18.0001
MICROP-041f
TOUCH PANEL-ATMEL224_16ab
RADIO-2.15.00.12.19

if you can help me plz either get it to stock or working on metro that would be great thank you

that looks like you're stock Unrooted on the latest hboot.
what is your software version in the phone info?
 
not sure what you can do at this point as the bootloader is locked and unrooted like robobob1221 said. not sure how to fix it as i know of only a rooted fix where you flash a script to get mms and data working. i guess you can always try and unlock the bootloader and root the phone and then try the fix.

What do you mean it won't connect? Is the usb port broken? Or the pc doesn't recognise the device? You said earlier that it does work and connect to the computer now you're saying it doesn't?
 
if i hold it down it tried to connect but pops up ... usb device not recognize i have installed all the updates for htc evos... its in debug mode and usb hard disk and still nothing i have tried it all

you have it set as disk drive??? what about MS-USB in recovery have you tried that?

Also you can use a tool like airdroid to help get things over to the phone with out the mess of sdcard removals.

no it wont and really my feelings about the whole metro thing are quite simple you want metro service get a metro phone. takes all the muss and fuss out of the equation.

but metro has some crappy phones, well had, the ones it has now are okay but i like my evo better than the phones metro has
 
Sprint doesn't always have great phones either but I buy from them I use them why because everything works with the native company. But do what you got to do and we'll help all we can
