I need help about the ics roms. I see Normal ones and i see nightly and AOPK. if i flash any of these do I have to upgrade them every now and then because i see new versons coming out each day please help :(

To update a currently installed ROM with an update that was developed for it, all you have to do is wipe the cache partition and the dalvik cache. When you reboot back into your ROM you probably won't even notice the difference right away.
If you change from one ROM to another you must do a full wipe. This means you will loose all user data unless backed up by Titanium, AppTyrant, etc.

As long as you have a good nandroid backup, flash what you want to and experiment with new kernels, have fun. No need to worry as long as you follow the ROM developers instructions for installing.

If you find one you like stick with it for a while. An update sometimes just has a new goodie that's been added and not necessarily any performance improvements. Checkout the change log in the ROM's thread to see if there is any changes that might benefit you, if not, don't worry about updating.

Thank you for the help. I want to go to ics but :

Should i download CM9? or AOPK?

and whats the difference btw normal and nightly ??

CM9 is more basic. AOPK is more customized.
Normal is one that gets updated every now and again.
A nightly gets updatex at least once a week.

Doesn't AOKP have more problems than CM9????

Not really last time I checked out both, youtube on AOKP was a slideshow while on CM9 it was perfect. AOKP also has offline charging working while CM9 doesn't. Some need it, some don't.

I use youtube barely so maybe I should try aokp now again.....I got MMS working on MetroPCS on someone elses optimus v with a nightly build :D I need to do it to my own....when I did it to his, it was a theory xD
