Root [MOD] CWM touch 6.0.1.1 Install

I'm sure that will flash, but I don't have a USB and no clue if it was a bad transfer, bad download, or just the fact that I wasn't even using a USB that caused this in the first place. I'm tired, so I'll just go to sleep, hopefully I wake up in the morning

Further use has shown that all sound and vibrations do not work.
Phone does not vibrate at any time that it should, and no sound at all is played. No ringtone, notification, music/games/media, etc.
Tomorrow I'll try flashing the normal cwm through ROM manager and see if that fixes it.
If it does, I'll hold off on the touch until I have a USB

Sorry dude but this doesn't touch anything within the phones settings. So it's physically impossible for anything that your are saying to be affected by CWM. Ive used both of these with no problems. I was using 6.0 for weeks before I flashed the newest one.

9/10 it's user error. Just sayin but it is. Someone always leaves out a part of the story or they say the forgot this or that. Hell it's already happened in this thread.

Ditto.

I agree, it usually is user error, and it probably is here, I just don't know how any if this could have caused it. Going to try the grey 1 now, again over wireless and see if that works
EDIT: Have to wait till I can get a USB, can't get adb wireless to work. Keeps freezing then force closing.

The wireless part might be part of the problem but I dont know. You can get a USB cable at just about any wal mart or walgreens. Hell Ive got them laying around everywhere.

I hope you get it straightened out ;)

Using my mothers USB now, hope this works! :D

EDIT: Man, I just can't get a break. The driver's aren't installing when I plug the phone in.

Make sure your firewall is off or setup to accept them. That's usually the FIRST cause for drivers not installing.

So im a little late to the party here. im still using 5.3.0 or something. i tried to do the lg esteem 4g from rom mon it didnt work.

I believe the first time i flashed was using a script. so with that said. Fuzzy13 does your download work with the .sh file thats included. I use linux and dont have a desktop to do all those window things you said in your directions. i am curious if i can just unzip the zip file and run the .sh file ?

I dont know what you mean.

The .img file is what actually flashes. I added the .img file to a previous touch install that had ver 6.0. I just swapped out the .img files.

As far as installing on Linux I have no clue. PM Playful God for that one.

I guess its moot. i got frisky and fired up windows. flashed right over.

kinda sad that i have to scroll up and down when the screen looks like it has more then enough room to display the entire menu. but its pretty nice to have a touch version of cwm. thanks

Scroll up and down for what?

My PC is in the shop. So can I flash it or use root explorer or something?

Nope. Gotta have a PC to run the command. No way around it.

Unless you can get it to work through ROM manager you can flash the newest touch through there. Will cost 1.99 but it's up in the air whether or not it will flash. It says it flashes and it says its installed but it actually isnt. maybe they will fix it ?
