I have to disagree with the iphone doing great on verizon. Oh sure there will be a ton of people happy, but will anybody from this forum go to it? Android in many ways is already better than the iphone, also in a lot of areas such as pinch to zoom, Iphone is still far superier. For me I like staying with the underdog with this one. I feel like the open source Android will Devour the Iphone in the end.
Even though Iphone is at the pinacle right now, For years everyone has wanted the next iphone killer. They don't have to look very far, Android is already here. It will make a difference as to what specs each brings to the table, but if the iphone comes across to Verizon with the same old phone, poeple looking for something different will turn the other way. I feel like an open source phone, with basically a free app store has unlimited potential over the iphone.
And if you don't beleive me, Google how to jailbreak Iphones and you will see several ways and poeple that do it to get a new app store called cydia. I know with Android you can root it out, basically the same thing, but iphone users do it to do some of the same functions that Standard Android users can already do. Plus there App Store is locked by what Apple wants you to have, not necesarily what you want.
