Im running CTMod 3.68
WP7 theme 200/800 vr/lagfree.
I cant for the life of me get more than a 12 hr charge.i have some kind of chinese battery,it says 1600mAh on it.idk why,it came with the phone.can some folks offer some advice,and/or their current ROM/Settings,so maybe i can fix this?im willing to switch ROMs,just need something stable.

I use CM9 rom as a daily and it has been very stable for me.What I do to extend battery life is turn off wifi and 3g and use them only when needed.Turn off sync and use only when needed.Keep brightness of screen low. Those seem to work for me.

Give it a couple days, see how it does.

Maybe it's just me, but every time I install anything, my battery life seems to go to crap.
A few days later, probably when I go back from 'ooh shiny' mode to 'meh, whatever' mode, battery life jumps tremendously.

i agree with you kouma.
i just cant seem to push my battery past 10 hours without needing a charge.crazy thing is,i DO turn wifi off,etc when im not using it.my GPS is NEVER on,and i always disable auto sync off the bat.whats your current stup kouma?i would like to note i have an 8GB class 4 sdcard.

If you go to settings/about phone/battery use, it will tell you what is using up battery, with a handy little graph with percentages. On mine, its only Phone Idle and Cell Standby, since I don't use it that much.

You should check out JuiceDefender, its really good for turning off wifi and the other radios automatically when you don't need them.

Brb.the damn screenshot wont upload.

I use deadline interactive x 946mhz. ...i noticed best performance on interactive for my tablet so i use it on my phone now... Lagfree wasn't too good on my battery either...it's like using performance..

I can get a two day and 8 hrs charge off of stock fe16 i just bared it. and IM still gonna bare it even more. Just takes a long time. Seeing what works and what doesn't.

Also try fully running your battery down before you charge again. And i mean kill it.. murder it. Suck the lifeforce out. What ever you have to do so it doesnt turn back on at all. And then charge it! And then repeat the murder. Lolz. It'll defenetly increase battery life greatly if you do this every time.
So you really have to be dedicated to it.

I just set my CPU governor to powersave :P

Running 946MHz kato Kern on CM9

i am on min 120 max 925 vr and smartassv2 i use smartassv2 because i read that when screen is off it slows down the processor then when screen on it goes back to normal function i use vr because it accelerates quickly when needed so when i get a bunch of emails or something that needs more juice it quickly gives it to it when the screen turns on works pretty well if you don't have your screen on all day but that is just me

Yes, Rarewolf has a very good suggestion. Any time somebody I know gets something I'm jealous of (my in-law-to-be just got the S III, a brand new laptop, and a brand new hotspot), I always suggest to slaughter the battery, breathe life back into it, crush its heart again, and resurrect it. Then I go on to tell them to repeat that process every couple months or so.
The reason you do this, is because there is more to batteries these days than just acid and electricity. The reason you can read a charge on a battery is because it has hardware that will measure the charge, output, and temperature of the battery. And just like any other instrument, it can become out of tune. Performing that process of depleting and fully recharging a couple times essentially calibrates your battery's sensors, like calibrating a thermometer.
